I think pre-tests are a waste of time. You have to cover everything in the state standards anyway. Just differentiate according to skill mastery as you go along.

Another reason is that I find that pre-tests are almost never referred to afterwards. They just get put in a drawer and forgotten about.

I'd swap Staten Island for the peninsula that stretches from Bayonne to North Bergen, New Jersey. Staten Island is basically Jersey anyway in terms of culture, and way more people who live on that peninsula are New York City workers.

Vacccines are not "experimental chemicals", whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean. They are safe, effective ways to prevent diseases. This is why we don't have polio, mumps, and rubella sweeping through the modern world. There is literally no difference between the COVID vaccine and other mRNA vaccines.

I really doubt that the people getting vaccinated are doing so because of Maynard. They're doing so because that's the educated, smart thing to do.
