Priority:
superiority in rank, position, or privilege
Taken from Meriam Webster.
Lane priority is a superiority in position. If you have control over a wave you have a superior position in lane. This is not broken English. It is not even a 'new' definition of the word.
Furthermore, language is a tool. It is used to convey information. If a word has a specific meaning in a specific context, that doesn't mean that the word is being use incorrectly, it means it's developing a new meaning, which is fine. The english language is not proscriptive, there is not a correct or incorrect way to speak or use words as long as the words you use convey the correct information to your audience. If I was speaking about league to someone who has no connection to the league community, I would likely have to describe what lane priority means before using the word, 'mental' might need some clarification as well, but within the league community these have specific meanings and no additional information would be required.

Well, they can discriminate based on your choices and actions, but only if those choices and actions are against what they believe.

Not saying there aren't issues with facial recognition, but I don't think that many more people would be dying because of this app.
People generally aren't murdering strangers. If someone wants to murder you, chances are they know you. If they know you, they have plenty of information to use the internet to track you down.
Y'all watch too much SVU. There are more things stopping the strangers on the street from murdering you than the fact the stranger doesn't know your name and address.
And for the occasional stranger that does want to murder you, knowing your name and address aren't exactly barriers of entry.

Weeeelll I ended up getting the v60. The prices on the velvets I was finding (at least with pictures of the actual device) were high enough that the jump to a v60 didn't seem so bad. It's a little thicker/heavier than I wanted ideally, but battery life is pretty nice, as is the DAC, and as you said, thing is a bit of a hardware monster, so I think it should handle things well enough in the years to come.
I actually am getting a new phone now because ATT is dropping their 3g support. They kindly sent me a text a week ago saying that they were gonna deactivate my phone and activate the one they sent to my primary address while I was stuck on an island in Maine for the rest of the month. The Nexus was starting to get a bit long in the tooth, so it's days were getting numbered, but I was gonna take my time finding a replacement/waiting for a nice deal to pop up on swappa/etc. Instead I bought one tonight :/
Thanks again for your help.

Th v60 seems like a bit more than I need.
The Velvet and the G8 seem pretty close to what I'm looking for. Hard to decide between the two though, as the G8 is a little bulkier but the miser in me prefers the price.
Do you feel like 5g will be required for 'future proofing' or do you think that 4g will be around for another few years?

Translations are never perfect. In fact, many translations of the bible contain outright mistranslations. Some just struggle because, as is the case above, the translations use a specific word that is used in a specific context in the original texts and then the translation doesn't quite convey the full context of the original.
You are correct when you say that it is very well studied, which is why you can find examples of this fairly easily.

Lol, just grabbed the link myself.
A surprisingly interesting video, I was not expecting it to end up as one of my favorites on his channel.

I mean, a bookmark could also be something you bought while on a trip and might remind you of happy times turning pages on a beach somewhere.
Or maybe it reminds you of that coffee shop in in the mountains of Morocco with a little babbling brook nearby.
IDK, things can have meaning worth more than the money used to get them.

I don't know enough about the situation to properly comment, but it's possible the guy had meth and MDMA and doesn't have a great method of storing/sorting his drugs and sold the wrong thing.
This kind of mistake isn't uncommon, the incident of bromo-dragonfly getting sold as 2-cb-fly is one of the more note-worthy examples of this occurring on a large and lethal scale (though it has happened more than once).
I am now realizing that you're saying the dude lied about testing and as such my statement has little to do with yours.

Well, it's a version imbedded into a tweet, so it's not exactly the prime rewatch format...

There are plenty of new games that you can run on an old computer. Not every new game is incredibly demanding.
Sure you aren't playing the newest triple As on max settings, but you have literally tons of new indie games to choose from, many of which will run just fine on an old PC.

That is pretty cool.
Not sure if that sort of thing is close to accessible for the average joe though.

I sort of agree. You definitely have a larger user base with the same hardware, so yes, a relevant answer is likely easier to find.
That being said, hardware issues on consoles present a much more difficult challenge when it comes to addressing them compared to a PC.
Software is a similar boat as I have access to game files that I can easily edit, drivers I can easily rollback or update, and even hardware that can easily be swapped, to address a problem I run into.
Granted, I haven't done work on a console in years, but do you guys have access to things like mem tests and HDD checks to help diagnose points of failure?
I had a ram stick start to die a few years ago and I determined that bad ram was the likely culprit of some crashes I was having and I was able to confirm it using easily accessible tools. Same for some hard drive failures.
Not trying to throw shade. Consoles are easier in a lot of ways and all of that troubleshooting requires some understanding of computers and a lot of people don't have the interest or time to delve into that sort of thing.

The whole time I was waiting for it to resolve. The video builds tension and you expect it to end with a teacher just being cool with it.
But no, it just was teachers not being cool with it for like two minutes and I feel like I could have watched 20 seconds and moved on with my life.

I'm actively poor. I buy clothes maybe twice a year at ~$40 for each trip to the thrift store and then another ~$40 for underwear and socks (since I like them new over thrifting).
Shoes I buy as needed and it depends on what's wearing out. Work shoes and sandals, which are what I wear the most, last around two years each. Sneakers, etc. last considerably longer.
So yeah, clothes are a part of a budget but for me it's much more like a yearly budget than a monthly.

I'm not overly particular if I'm drinking at home but if I'm going to pay $35 for a quantity of scotch that would cost me $3 to pour at home then I'm gonna mix it the way I prefer.
If I'm at your house and you pour me a drink neat or with too much water, or an ice cube or w/e. I won't scoff at you for giving me a dram.

Fine, from the Oxford English dictionary.
You get first access to minions and roaming because you have priority.
Words can have more than one definition and different definitions in different contexts. Again, English isn't a proscriptive language, you can use it however you like and you won't have issue as long as your audience understands the meaning of a word being used.
