This is the place where barracuda's used to be, right? Do they still have the pool table?

This exactly. I think you can also check by your tag number, too, in case they put it in the computer right, but miswrote it on the ticket.

At the very least they should know basketball isn't on in September.

Player's Pub on Broadway is a Bear's bar (Cubs, too, I think, for the baseball fans).

My friends and I like to play "hipster or homeless" while hanging out around Denver.

Message boards have been "censored" (i.e. moderated) since message boards have existed. Reddit is just a fancy message board.

I can't believe I haven't seen Shells and Sauce, yet. Their weekend brunch is amazing.

The Renesis in the RX8 is nothing like the engine in the OP.

Fine. Harvesting*, you pedant.

Seriously. Any amateur cook should be able to make this easily.

It really isn't. The hardest thing he did was go hunt the mussels. Buy them from a shop and it's a super easy recipe.

Don't have kids if you don't want them and if you wanted them then stop complaining. You did it to yourself.

COMMENT 7d ago

I mean, you spend the day at the beach, maybe an hour of that is finding and collecting the mussels. Then you go home and the rest of the recipe is pretty fucking easy. It maybe takes an hour to prep, cook, and serve. For someone who actually likes to cook that's not bad at all.

That is a lot of rotating mass.

6

COMMENT 7d ago

That is not what I think of as a rotary engine.

A couple weeks ago I was watching the game and the broadcasters mentioned Duvall had 16RBIs against us and was sitting on 15 for us, so he owed us one. The next pitch he hit a 2RBI double.

I don't think any plane has ever had a rotary engine, except for maybe some dude's homebuilt experimental.

Edit: some people call radial engines rotary engines. TIL.

COMMENT 7d ago

They were pretty much the default engine type for aircraft from like the 30s into the 50s. Some of the most influential and recognizable early cargo and passenger planes had radials, so they weren't relegated to small planes at all. Many bombers in WWII used them as well.

Did you? The unsafeway is in Five Points.

No, those were actual fireworks. Looked like they were over by Wash Park or the country club.

I think it was probably just blue curacao, creme de menthe, and grenadine.

COMMENT 9d ago

The story I've heard was a layered shot of something red, white, and blue with a splash of 151 on top and lit on fire.

I've always thought 'helicopter cowboy' might be the coolest, most-juvenile sounding job title that I definitely want to put on my resumé.

I would imagine there's a wedge or something that gets tightened against the steerer.
