I’ll never forget my E9 grumbling “if you agree with Colin Kaepernick you can’t get the fuck out of my Navy” and before lil old E4 FearOfaBlkPlanet could raise his hand to request an early out, one of our Black E6s, who I’m still friends with to this day, raised his hand and asked. I could hear the ass chewing in the office later that day, but he came out laughing his ass off after threatening to report that statement itself to the commanding officer.

I served in the Navy for 4 years. Based on symbolism I saw and dog whistles I over heard from other Sailors and Marines, I’d bet my kid’s college fund that 1/3 of all white service members are either closet white supremacists or sympathizers. One of the most blatant examples was that when I joined in 2013, it was perfectly acceptable for people to shit on the President at the time (of course with moderation).

After king klansman got elected, all of a sudden anything you said about the President better have been wishing him and his party all the success in the world, or you’d hear about it from a white higher up.

Shit I got whooped for that when I was his age. But yeah I don’t put my hands on him at all. Xbox got taken away for the rest of the week. Next time it happens, it’ll be boot camp time. I use some of the shit they did to us in the Navy, but on a much smaller scale. No need for 40 push-ups and 40 burpees. 20 push-ups and some sitting on the wall in a chair type position for a few minutes usually gets the point across

I agree. I’ve been playing since i was 12. I’ve loved this franchise since the first time I played it in 2001.

I joined a few weeks ago to stay in the know. All I see are people posting videos of them getting the same triple kills I’ve been seeing since Halo: CE first dropped and people complaining about every single change for the game. This entire industry has been changing to a subscription format, and fuck, delays happen, I mean we are still in a pandemic. Just constant bitching and whining from weirdos.
