This happened to me too on swim team. To make matters worse, the heat was backstroke. My boner was cutting through the water‘s surface like a shark fin. So embarrassing, I still cringe about it from time to time.

I assure you that they are thoughtful, well-intentioned humans.

No, they're not. Fuck them. There is no excuse for any American who doesn't have allergy or autoimmune issues to vaccinations to not have gotten vaccinated by now. Even with Pfizer's full FDA approval, they're still giving out bullshit excuses.

COMMENT 3d ago

Definitely, I can't imagine actually devoting an emotion to them. They're just reality show celebrities...they have no impact on my daily life or within my own personal interests in arts/media/film.

If you have a kitchen aid mixer, the pasta making attachments are great. They don’t take up much space in your cabinets…making pasta is fairly easy using them .

They are less likely to get seriously ill but it's still happening. You are just ignoring the fact that the delta variant is highly contagious enough to be putting pediatric ICU beds at full capacity. That's a problem... and many school-age kids can't get vaccinated yet. But it's clear that all you lot care about is a silly notion of personal freedom just because you don't like to be told what to do by experts.

Also, if we let the virus run rampant through unvaccinated and unmasked communities then it has a bigger opportunity to mutate into even deadlier strains.

Zero risk? Many hospitals in Texas have run out of pediatric ICU beds. Outside of getting sick themselves, they'll just spread it out around more too. What is the big fucking deal about having kids wear masks again. We've been through this already, sure, it sucks but suck it the fuck up because the pandemic isn't over. "Facial learning" can wait a bit.

It’s also funny that the sentiment is basically “hell, just send some tough rednecks after them Taliban fellas.” So, combat troops are what now? A bunch of pussies for the last 20 years? There’s no tough rednecks to be found in infantry units?

Pretty much, even most of the born and raised New Yorkers who I worked with would stop working and look around for a second at each other during a big gust of wind. I think 9/11 left a lot of big psychological scars on Manhattan office workers as well.

Yea, I used to work on the 40th floor of a tower in Midtown. Some days during high winds the tower would creak like a ship and you could feel a little sway.

Man, the first time you hear a croup cough from your little one is so scary. I remember that feeling well....it literally sounds like they are about to have respiratory failure.

Everytime Trump said something completely ridiculous, the next day you'd have Sarah Huckabee or Barbie Mackenzie say "oh he was just joking lol or you misinterpreted it, you didn't actually believe him did you?" Uhh... well we're in the middle of a crisis, Barbie, should he be joking around on a daily basis?

He's just a complete jackwagon. Those are his real brainwaves.

Don't forget this gem:

“Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor

and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good

genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton

School of Finance, very good, very smart —you know, if

you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if,

like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m

one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s

true!—but when you’re a conservative Republican they

try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start

off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there,

went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to

give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little

disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the

thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy,

and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is

powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many

years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he

would explain the power of what’s going to happen and

he was right—who would have thought?), but when you

look at what’s going on with the four prisoners—now it

used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and

even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger;

fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they

haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now

than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about

another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators,

the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just

killed, they just killed us.”

No, there is logic there. Hate from minorities towards whites usually comes in the form of “white devil.” Meaning assuming that the average white person is an evil privileged racist out to subject them. That is prejudice, but not necessarily racist. “Gringo” as a derogatory connotation is another good example, it basically means asshole, privileged white American.

On the other side, typical white racist attitudes towards minorities is that they are entirely subhuman, that is racism. The two differences is that one attitude has evolved from the nature of being the oppressor throughout history and the other being the reactionary attitude as the one being oppressed.

Yea but the people who do the tests are often the types to claim that they’re “proudly 100% Italian.” Then they’re later shocked to discover that their ancestor’s genes are Italian/Greek/North African/Norman because they didn’t realize that Europe is genetically diverse too.

Why is it whenever you zoom up behind someone doing 40 on the end of an on-ramp, it’s always a champagne colored Corolla?
