For my company, getting the NABCEP certs give you a $2.50 raise and then another $2.50 raise after the masters cert. That’s on top of our guaranteed pay schedule which tops out after 5 years if you come in as a green rookie and don’t become a lead. Plus tons of OT even when things are moderately paced.

My dad nearly got thrown in jail by a judge for misrepresentation. He used to get taken to court by medical insurance companies all the time when he ran a physical rehab clinic. My pops represented himself in a decent suit and knew the proper laws to cite, and usually got the same judge each time. No one bothered to ask if he was a lawyer since he acted like a lawyer. Judge was so pissed once he thought to ask my dad where he went to law school and my dad said he wasn’t a lawyer. The embarrassment of the judge is only thing that saved my dad from a slew of charges.

Outside of sex with women or violence with other men, straight guys might not get a lot of physical contact from other humans (barring family of course).

I had never watched that or even really heard of QaF until like last year. It’s......well it’s definitely from the early 2000’s. Got through most of the first season before I got bored and too annoyed. Omar is the kind of queer icon I vibe with the most as far as representation goes. There’s so many other things layered into his character and Michael K’s portrayal of him that he didn’t have to be a gay stereotype or even a straight character that we’re gonna say is gay. It was a part of his life and deeply affected his life but it was just one dish at the buffet and wasn’t always or even often the most driving factor in his story.

Man liked his dick and wasn’t ashamed of it but he had bigger problems to worry about. And we had so many bigger parts of Omar’s life we were more interested in it was easy to forget about that part for a second. He got to be him, but 100% him on his own terms.
