Your content was 100% the best out there. Was Super sad to see you channel switched to private, but we all have our reasons. Best luck to you and if you decide to create content for something in the future I hope to see it.

I will second what was said about the 90d high Iso performance. I've found 1600 to 4k yo be reliable and have several excellent 13x19 prints from 6400 Iso. Just be aware once you get past 1600 hitting your exposure spot on gets far more important. You won't recover detail as well from shadows or highlights without a ton of noise. So if you can read a histogram and with some trial and error you can get excellent results.

I have an associates. I'm the dumb guy that changed his major a few times and fucked up. Never got my bachelor's.

The part the helped me a lot after I started paying attention is that unless I opted out the company raised my 401k contribution by 1% per year until it hit 10%. After my salary increased 10% is pretty solid and has put me in a good position to have a not terrible retirement.

This here too. Started ground up for the same company. Started at $8.50/hr PT in 2008 and in 2018 got a third promotion to operations manager. Over 6 figures after yearly bonus hits.

If you go by play time vs cost? God yes. Factorio and Rimworld both have over 700 hours in my steam library and I'm not bored of them.

It's photos like this that keep me in check for accepting flaws.

You say it shows flaws in the 50 1.8, I say this image is badass. Good work.

Milo and Otis.

Loved that dang movie as a little kid. My wife had never even heard of it so I found a copy online amd took off down memory lane. Turned that car around 10 minutes later. It's so unbelievably terrible.

My experience with the combo is that it's phenomenal, if you pay attention.

What I mean by that is the 90D has an insane pixel density. Any motion with be noticeable and blurred at pixel level. I shoot most 1/1000 or faster for this reason. I know that anything lower I'm risking alot due to pixel density, things that were cake on my 7d might be blurry with the 90d. That being said I would say 90% of blurry shots are my own fault by trying to make shots work I know might not end up alright.

The 90d deals with noise very well compared to what I expected, I've made many prints that were 5000 to 6000 iso that look great. So don't be afraid to crank it up a bit to keep shutter speed high.

The only thing I'm disappointed with out of the camera is the ai servo autofocus struggles alot for me with objects moving towards or away from the camera. I'm sure there's technique issues in there but I feel even my 7d was more reliable in those specific scenarios.

Gotta say though, I live the combo and I love the camera. Good luck!

My only complaint

I'm right there with ya. I repressed most of what happened prior to my senior year of highschoool. I've found that since then remembering anything specific that involves anykind of conflict in my non-work life is rough. Not 100% sure why the distinction between work/non-work bit it makes things very hard in my personal life. The conflict doesn't even have to be bad I just go into defense mode and poor, half of it is gone.

Is it normal? My therapist says it's a pretty common defensive trait from childhood trauma, but working through it is a pain in the ass. Good luck out there, just know you're not alone in the struggle!

I love the 90d. Paired with the 100-400 it is a great combo. If we get that sensor with the mirrorless autofocus of the r6 it will be a beast!

If you want the big boy, get the f/2.8. Not beating around the bush. If your main grip with the combo you are using is sharpness/ad speed seriously rent the 100-400mk. II. I went from the combo you are using to the 100-400mk.II and the difference is truly unreal. sharper than the version 1 copy of the canon 500mmf/4 IS. Hands down the new 100-400 is my favorite lens. If you need/want the extra light from the 2.8, or if you just want the clout of the big prime, then the big boy lens is the only way to go. But if you just need better sharpness, better af and better IS and don't need 2 more stops of light save 9k and get the zoom.

I'd take about 10 to 20% off the bottom. If you bumped color temp from 5k to 6500, maybe tone it back to 6300. If saturation was 10, drop iy to 8 or 9.

I definitely prefer the bottom, feels real close to good sunset lighting it's just a bit too much. I always over do my warm tones and have to correct later.

I always do 2 rounds of edits and the second is more of a second look/review and almost every time I have a bunch of images where I knock about 20% off some of my adjustments and I'm always happier with the result!
