That's a good looking boat and has a lot of features i wish my NC had. After i dug myself out of the youtube hole this put me in, google is telling me its doesn't look like its for sale in U.S. That's a shame.

Norton yachts in deltaville va. They are great and I would buy another boat from them in a heartbeat. Tell them Drift Away sent you.

I also spoke to Rudy marine and the entire experience felt shady. I kept asking to come see the boat and I was always given some excuse why I couldn’t.

Some of us have to sell the software the developers make via the powerpoints you create.

Have an NC 895 (also on the Chesapeake), so maybe i can help a little.

  1. My AC water outlet is on the port side only and water is constant when the AC is running on both shore and genset
  2. The one small vent in the pilot house is not enough to keep it cool. I bought a small ryobi fan that can be either powered by 110 or battery. I keep it just under the berth in the main cabin and point it up towards the pilot house. Close the head door and leave the two cabin doors open. This should push the cold air from the cabins up into the pilot house

On the crazy hot weeks, it is still going to struggle to keep it cool up top, but the fan helps a TON.

I ended up buying the Seasucker. Tested them slowly but by the end of the weekend we were doing 24 knots with two boards up top into a headwind. Only minor issues was one pad wouldn’t keep full suction. A little water under the pad resolved it. Wish they bars were wider.

I don’t have it wired into the switch. I just run via the remote.

We went the cheap route and bought a foam mattress topper and used an electric knife to cut it it fit. We use normal sheets and found some bed sheet fittings to pull them tight.

It shockingly works well.

Very helpful. I had the similiar thoughts

  1. Thule - I couldnt find a mount that could secure to the roof rail - this is really really helpful.
  2. holes in the roof are excatly why i was hesitant on this.
  3. I emailed sea sucker a couple of weeks ago and asked if they would work. Shockingly no one ever got back to me.
  4. I also thought that i could get a marine fabricator to add stainless steak rails from the two existing rails.

I like the idea that are removable. So ill do some more research on Thule/Yakima and sea sucker.

Thanks!

We are in Chesapeake harbor marina. We were very close to choosing HHN when we got our boat last year. Great place.

Yeah it was calmer than expected. We hit a little chop near Solomon. All in all we did about 90nm in four hours.
