I was in your exact shoes in college. I ended it bc she became more and more passive aggressive. And I'm glad I did. The mental anxiety and physical exhaustion isn't worth staying. Your health will thank you for it. Especially when the right one comes around. At least that was my experience. I hope you find the best path possible

My parents marriage was on the rocks. I think mom had gotten wind of him having an affair. He took us on a trip to San Antonio, TX. We stayed in a hotel room w two beds. He got her drunk, him included. We go back to the room and go to bed. Maybe an hour later, I hear grunting. She was completely unconscious & not moving- he raped her. I closed my eyes & held my little brothers ears closed so he wouldn’t wake up. I was about 7 or 8. Dad watched pornos in front of us at a young age so I knew what was happening. I brought it up to my mom years later. She denies it/probably doesn’t remember.
They have been divorced for over 15years now but should have divorced way sooner than that.

We had a really good talk. It actually started when I looked at my phone and saw all the notifications and I started tearing up. He asked what was wrong. And cue the waterworks. He apologized and genuinely felt bad by how it came across. He had a terrible day at work and shouldn’t have let that tone carry on. He did mean it to keep motivation strong.
