Realistic shot percentages from 3 would absolutely ruin something like park, and the whole meta would be dunking.

It would be funny to time every shot perfectly but have the game give me a full bar at a rate of >50% of shots, and then I'd have have to watch people on the other end go for contact after contact

For 2k? Quite literally the opposite

Who needs to spend bonds on things that provide faster xp when you can wait for the 4 dxps that drop every year lmao

All you need to know is that chef will be op, they thought they were doing good by doing limitless spot up and chef, but chef is basically deep 3s and stop and pop combined. I can promise people will be on this sub crying about chef day 1 lmao

It might be different for 22, but you didn't need stamina or tireless to green in 21. Never used it

I didnt know it was lazy to be annoyed that people can use a cheat to get a green every time

And when the reverse happens and the reddit community starts crying about chef right away, the devs needa ignore that too

I agree that deep 3s is pretty busted as is, but I'm not sure if I agree with these changes.

"This means that you might have to sacrifice other good badges to HOF both Chef & limitless Spot-Up, thus changing a meta badge into more of a difficult decision."

100% disagree. People already know what their playstyle is. If you're a PG and up top ball handling I don't see why you'd want to put HOF spot up at all, it's clear you'd use chef and you're still only using 4 points like you would on limitless except now instead of standing you'll even be fading! (people are definitely going to complain about this)

Where I don't like the spot up badge at all is when also looking at other badges that are in the game. When we look at lucky #7 we see this:

"Boosts your ability to score when shooting early in the clock"

I believe with this badge now instead of seeing a spot up in the corner for park, they are just going to run right over the half court line and wait for the center to outlet to them off the rebound. Now they will get two great HOF boosts right away and be able to hit easily from "logo-range"

edit: Just saw a vid going over the badges more indepth and now see chef as more of a good badge seeing that you can also stop and pop with it and I change my opinion on that. I'm still unsure on hof limitless spot up though

Lol that moment when moving 3s are now going to be a better option for a shot than just a standstill limitless 3.

I already know this community will cry about chef

Edit: Limitless spot up and lucky #7 will also ruin park, cant wait for a center to throw me the ball of the rebound and I green every shot. lol they didnt think these badges out huh

Clamps doesn't make them pick up the ball much but pick ups are just a bonus. I will agree 100% that super contested makes are bad but that's also with the addition of takeover, which they have to score on you multiple times before they get that.

Guy up top clamps, corners have interceptor. Sure sometimes your guy will get by you and dunk, but other times he'll get clamped by you or your teammate on the switch, or throw a bad pass and its a TO

complaining is very possible without being hyperbolic

Never said there were no problems with defense, im just refuting people saying theres absolutely no defense which is still not true

You on xbox? wouldn't be against it

I will admit its heavy iso, but im telling you theres enough defense to tell the difference between someone that knows how to play it and someone that doesnt.

If I couldnt play any defense at all I wouldnt have an 85 win.

You play bait defense and help when people are close enough to do the switch.

Sure there are people that are worse can win every now and then, but how consistently can they really win? I see a ton of people that have 40-50 win%, but a lot less are 85 win%+.

There definitely is a skill gap and defense in next gen. You say everyone can be good at the game but I feel like everyone that plays it is terrible lmao

1

COMMENT 8d ago

Bait defense and switches, 99% of the next gen playerbase isn't good at it though

0

COMMENT 8d ago

To a level this is true.

You don't need it, but you do if you want to have a high win%

COMMENT 8d ago

Idk why they'd report, but I'm willing to bet people that know more than 1 language haven't completely "mastered" them either lol

COMMENT 8d ago

67% isn't on pure catch and shoot, its on quickstops mainly which i consider even harder than those

1

COMMENT 8d ago

It's literally where you invite people to squad right in the same menu, have you only played 2 games of park?

Who said my life revolves around 2k? All I said is that the dribbling in this clip is definitely guardable, and if my level of play and stats is ass then damn everyone else is god awful at this game lol

...imagine thinking a 1v1 takes literally any skill on next gen... might as well flip a coin bro.

You ducking your own w% you know its important enough to not let that out lmao
