Thanks for that info. Seems so weird to me that anyone can change info and no one vets it. As far as I knew, it was a believable site! Learn something new every day. Do hope you are right.

Please realize that, despite what you think, you don’t know it all. You are so naive. 70% of the American public did not believe the Warren Commission report when it was published - and for good reason. One small item: tests done in 1964, by the FBI, prove that all bullets found in Dealy Plaza could not have come from the same rifle. There was so much information known by the Commission that was withheld. And then witnesses started dying, left and right, under mysterious circumstances. As was said at the time, the only thing the Warren Commission told the whole truth about was that Jack Ruby shot Oswald - and since that was televised, even they couldn’t lie about it. Just eat up the info from the Warren Commission. It was published for fools like you.

COMMENT 26d ago

The Warren Commission? You’re believing and quoting that?!! The majority of Americans didn’t believe it when it was released, and that number hadn’t increased over the past 58 years! Helped to have been there!

Do you not think things are still pretty much the same? The rich & powerful rule this country and no amount of protesting by the ‘regular’ folks will change that. European countries have better luck, but they have huge numbers of the population behind them - something the fractured U.S. can’t seem to accomplish.

COMMENT 26d ago

I think I agree that Oswald pulled the trigger, but he did not act alone. He was a patsy, and I doubt he fired the deadly shot.

3

COMMENT 27d ago

I hadn’t heard that, but it makes me so angry that these powerful ‘fortunate sons’ are able to do as they please - and get away with it!

Thanks for the info on Wiki. Didn’t realize info could be changed without proof, but numerous other sources (hopefully correct!) say the same.

Afterwards, Mr. Bowers tried to tone down his eyewitness account, but the cat was out of the bag by then, and Mr. Bowers joined that of group of folks who died under mysterious circumstances.

Also appreciate you picking up on poster’s rudeness!

COMMENT 27d ago

Excuse me!? Learn some facts? Look - you want to be rude? Well the facts are it all depends on what you read and who you believe. Wikipedia is what I read.

Also this source: https://spartacus-educational.com/JFKbowers.htm

Aside from the fact that I was 17 when JFK was assassinated and remember the eyewitness accounts.

COMMENT 27d ago

Sounds to me like he’s saying it was an accidental death. Hmm… I didn’t read the book, but weren’t at least one of the Kennedy’s supposedly at her home that evening before she died?

I am a boomer and, yes, she was great fun on that show. Really sharp, with a great sense of humor. But always soft-spoken and ladylike.

COMMENT 27d ago

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Like those folks who are killed by a bullet to the back of the head - and it’s ruled suicide. Messing around with political bigwigs is like messing with the mob. They make sure you don’t stick around to talk.

COMMENT 27d ago

Yeah, poor guy became famous after seeing four men by the underpass and one throw a rifle into a car! That kind of fame may well lead to you dying at 41, as he did. That’s a shame!

I LOVE bidets. All the difference in the world! The ones in Japan have numerous buttons that, unless you read Japanese, it’s a guess what they do. I pressed one and it made the sound of a raging waterfall (I guess to hide any sounds you’re making?) another button dries you with warm air. Bidets are especially useful for women.

COMMENT 27d ago

Now, that’s a lie. A square or two!? Not necessary for most people?!? One uses probably more toilet paper because your butt is dripping water!

But must say your ad is much more tasteful than those awful ads for deodorant for the nether regions.

COMMENT 27d ago

Depends on who you were. No one I know ever believed Oswald did it. Being famous and having connections was what got you killed.

2

COMMENT 28d ago

OMG! Cannot believe how seriously this is being taken. Of course, being on the 1971 generation, everyone I knew would have found it very amusing. Men did it all the time - she was just showing them how it felt. I love it!

Do you have any reason to suspect foul play? Are her children safe? Sometimes police are slow to act when it is an adult they feel may have left on their own. I can only imagine your anguish, wanting to know she is safe. I hope she sees your posts and contacts you soon. ♥️

I’ve lived in Boston most of my life and, no, that kind of rude remark would never be said. We have manners. And you may not think it’s much, but my brother felt so unwelcomed and no one has made any attempt to be the least bit friendly. My brother, after two years there, is seriously looked at moving out of that area of the country.

Not sure I follow. You’re talking about non-Muslim tourists in Dubai. Yes, a bar would do great there. But I understood this ad is for a bar in Riyadh, and I was wondering how many non-Muslim tourists are in Riyadh?

2

COMMENT Aug 13 '21

But how many non-Muslim tourists does Riyadh have? Enough to keep a bar in business?

My brother moved to Hermitage. Bought a very nice condo there and at the first HOA meeting he attended, it was mentioned that he moved there from Boston. The HOA President then snarkily said “Oh, I didn’t think we sold to Yankees!” and everyone laughed their heads off. Yeah, I’d have decked the a$$hole!

I remember, in 1973, we were looking for a rental apartment in North Boston. Finally found one - just fine, except it did not have a bathroom. Nothing - and no one seemed perturbed in the least. Not sure where/what you were expected to use, but we decided to move onto looking in East Boston, with much better luck.
