Well it kind of boils down to the fact that this is a requirement for the position. If you no longer meet the requirements for the job you’re doing, find another job or find a way to meet the requirements. That’s every job and it doesn’t matter which one it is. I’ve lost jobs because people didn’t like my personal life outside of work I’ve lost jobs because my Boss didn’t like my hair color…. I had the choice to change it and keep my job. I had the choice to change my lifestyle to keep my job. I chose what I wanted to do and I could not keep my job. I don’t really have any pity for anybody who loses a job based on their choices. Yeah it sucks but people suffer the consequences of their choices every day. I can understand why people might not get a vaccine because of a medical issue. But just on principal? Because they don’t want to? Nope

Same issue here! I have a corn allergy and those are made from corn. I stayed on Benadryl for a week straight after that and I was okay but with a full bucket for another week after that. I took a full 50 mg of Benadryl an hour before getting the shot. I am Ana to many corn derivatives but unsure of the peg and the their two. Anything with ethyl in it I am usually Ana to. Especially ethyl alcohols. Allergies are so very different for each of us. For me, I felt better with anaphylaxis than with Covid. Going next month for my booster. Not looking forward to it. You gotta do what is safest for you. I do hope you have a good mask. Stick with n95 to be safe as you can. They are pricey but worth it

I feel ya. I am also allergic to the additives. I had to medicate so heavily to get my Covid shots that I couldn’t even drive. The next week is a haze of Benadryl. I am also allergic to most medication additives so I figured I had a better chance with the vaccine.

Ehhh. Correlation does not equal causation. It does inspire additional studies though. And there are many other factors at play in addition to a person own genetic makeup.
