That last "logic" escapes me every time. Would you cut off a kid's ears because you couldn't be bothered to teach them how to wash?

Most people these days agree that this is a real issue, are you perhaps trying to compare it to extreme FGM or abortion issues which usually cause severe health problems or death? The context in which you are putting these facts matters.

Yea the accent coming out while angry is a common thing lol. BF finds it quite funny so he tries to make me rant about things often

You end up having to master communication by context. Half of the words people use up in the Highlands I could understand but don't really use myself

Edin-bruh is how most people around that area say it, so I'd say it's the correct way
If you tell an American to say "bruh" though they'll still say it wrong lol. Hard to spell out Scottish sounds

At the moment I'm sleepy all the time, I go to bed only a couple hours after work yet still struggle to sleep. Then my BF wakes up on his earlier schedule at 4-5am and I can't sleep again. So I lie in bed getting maybe another hour before I get up around 7am. Literally spending most of my time in bed and getting NO sleep.

Calling it a vacation is disingenuous imo. They're visiting loved ones, perhaps for the last time they can. It's unfortunate they got caught up in this but many other people did, even people with ties to foreign governments, so it's not like this outcome was expected to happen this quickly.

I don't think students should be fighting for their country regardless of what happens.
It was expected that all-out war wouldn't return this quickly as well. Many people are stuck there because of this expectation, not just these refugees

It creeps me out that these guys just want a warm body for a girlfriend basically. I can't imagine not caring whether I'd actually LIKE my partner or not, wouldn't that be a miserable life? Having a girlfriend that you despise

They is really common to use especially if the person was already referenced. Here it's obvious we're talking about them. Also comes down to personal preference when you write

Curse you for reminding me of that fucking movie. I was quite a young kid at the time super into Biology and evolution and all that stuff, this movie looked fun as hell. Convinced my parents to unlock the TV or whatever so I could watch it because the age rating was high - it seemed to be because of gore which I could handle fine (blob hamster thing getting rekt).
But no, creepy incest rape and grooming. Jesus christ.

I don't think any refugee should be lambasted for returning to their country, even if not to see loved ones, since the situation in the country and their individual situations can change with time. Imo this is a really narrow minded view you have.

They wanted to see their family, it's written right there. Perhaps it's a dangerous place to live but safe enough to see your loved ones, prior to this incident?

They would've been relatively safe to visit family had this whole clusterfuck never transpired... Which is where the problem lies, as reported here and everywhere else for the past while
A place can be safe enough to visit but not a great place to live. I'm not gonna be cheeky and give an example there.

Reuters seems to have a good reputation with businesspeople indeed. I teach English to lots of foreign speakers in the business sector and my company uses these articles. Always refreshingly objective and interesting imo.

Sure, but it's not healthy to lose lots of weight all at once without doctor supervision. Hope it doesn't take too much of a toll on you, consider some maintenance breaks too

I didn't say they never have them, obviously. If you read what I wrote, I highlighted that modern men seem to be placing too much importance on relationships and not finding their "place" in the world as a result (i.e their life goals aside from relationships). I think this is where the difference truly lies between men and women, because women are typically satisfied by chasing other goals in their life if they don't have a partner.

Honestly, this sounds like the same old "men need compliments from random women to live" thing. Yes, it would be nice to have a partner for anyone, but I think your conclusion is off. Imo this problem arises because modern men do not have any life goals outside of relationships, since their old roles are now filled by women too (earners, breadwinners, etc). It seems to me that the men who state they need a woman are unable to imagine themselves providing worth in any other capacity, and that bothers them.

He's not being arrested just because of the shirt. He was harassing people, disturbing the peace, then ran from the police when they tried to talk with him about it.
Are they supposed to let the next patriotic dude on the street kick him to death or what? Because that's what would happen

In some Euro countries sure, but not every single one is like that. It's weird that people treat Europe as one block.
Just pay attention to what other people do wherever you end up.

You run from police while they try to talk to you, you get arrested anywhere.
