I do think he needs to move and be in an environment where he could really thrive and focus and himself and his grades.

Thanks for this advice. I think contacting the admissions office even in preparation if he were to go to a community college and then transfer, they hopefully could help with the process.

This sounds like a great option. If he was able to go to ACC for a year, get good grades and then transfer.

Me and my partner offered $50k over asking price and we were not the highest offer. We had made a personal letter but we also submitted a video of ourselves just showing our personalities and what we loved about the house. It was an older couple who owned the house for a few decades and they reached out to our realtor saying that they really wanted the house to go to us. I think people do root for the little guy instead of these huge, cash investors that just what to tear the house down to build. Excited to announce we are under contract! Didn’t think it was going to happen in this market but we did it 😊

Hi there. The first part “I don’t have tips for how to help if you’re not in Austin, but I’m worried that people don’t understand how bad things are here. Someone I spoke to today compared it to Katrina - people outside the bubble not getting it. There is very little power security in the entire city of Austin right now. Many groceries stores closed, gas stations out of gas, roads almost impossible with 4 wheel drive. People in freezing homes. No idea when we’ll get power back. Water starting to shut off and for those who have water have to boil it for at least 2 min because the tap water isn’t safe. Your friends in Texas are NOT okay.” & the end without the swear words “if people are making fun of Texas or politics this is no joke.” This is from an Instagram post with some words tweaks here and there.
