Yeah Simmons was a bit lazy at the end, but I always thought Embiid made a mistake cutting off Simmons. Simmons had decent position and speed. Embiid jumping forward and then trying to move laterally while Kawhi kept going gave him the daylight he needed to take the shot.

Yeah if you watch old NBA clips, a lot of players look slightly awkward when they dribble since carries were called more often.

You might enjoy Micro Macro Crime City. It's maybe more of an activity than a game, like Where's Waldo meets murder mystery. Great for 2 to work together and bounce ideas off of.

Also if you aren't aware of it, look into War of the Ring. It's a very complex and a big time commitment but is often touted as the best LoTR strategic "simulation" game. Probably something to aspire to but might be worth keeping in the back of you mind.

Bus is very interactive and cut-throat. Its highly strategic and no luck. The finite number of workers (actions) you have make your decisions very meaningful. As well as the way the worker placement resolves (dominant species esque) you really have to try and predict the future.
