If the car is still driveable it is possible to buy it back from the insurance company and have the bare minimum work done on it, like a new headlight or bumper cover. Some shops won't do this for you and others will just get you up and running again depending on where you are from. That option might be better than going through the process of buying an entirely new car, especially with the market right now.

Yeah we are a stand alone, we are located in a small town with not much competition from dealers or DR shops so that helps a lot. Although in a small town it is very important to put out good work becuase word gets around fast.

I disagree, my shop is not on a drp program and we do very well. We are always slammed with work and 95% of it is insurance jobs. Allstate geico and progressive still only pay for shit parts but it will be that way whether you are drp or not.
