Fuck that’s good.

The province-wide lockdowns were different. Most businesses complied because it was too difficult to stay open (no customers, no staff, negative publicity, supply chain, etc.).

Now that everything is returning to normal, the challenge of enforcement will simply be screening customers as they enter. I expect some businesses will have a good process, but I doubt many minimum-wage staff and apathetic managers will be able to block zealous anti-vaxxers from entering a store.

In scientific terms, that’s all show, no substance.

That’s only for small employers.

…all employees with five or more years of service at large employers (2.5 million dollar payroll) should be given an additional 1 weeks’ severance per year of service (up to a maximum of 26 weeks)

Adding to that, the price was insane at the time and it was a bold strategy to target everyday consumers. Blackberry was making tons of money with their devices and had proven the market for business users.

Obviously, it was a revolutionary product and took off, but that was kind of Steve Jobs thing.

No, no, no, the REAL world is the eternal struggle of hero’s in for-profit businesses and greedy socialists that stand in their way.

What does the ER stand for?

The Queens real name, Emily Rakowski? Eminent Royal? Empress Regent? Something in Latin?

Projecting like that won’t distract people from your tenuous comprehension of the English language.

You should understand the meaning of words before starting these stupid arguments. Worthy isn’t a synonym for deserves.

Deserve (verb)

de·serve | \ di-ˈzərv \ deserved; deserving

to have earned or to be given something because of the way you have behaved or the qualities you have.

to merit, be qualified for, or have a claim to (reward, assistance, punishment, etc.) because of actions, qualities, or situation.

Example:

Even though many Canadians feel he isn’t worthy, Justin Trudeau deserves to be Prime Minister since he is the leader of the Liberal party and they have the most seats in parliament.

COMMENT 3d ago

That actually is how democracy works in Canada.

He deserves the position if he is elected the leader of his party and they win the most seats.

Whether you personally feel he is suitable for the position doesn’t really matter.

Similar story here. Saw a car parked close to a wall and a cow sleeping on the other side. The owner sitting on the hood told me he’d been there about an hour waiting politely for the cow to move.

This is a good point.

Good points. I’d also add that good leaders can at the very least direct solutions and coach their employees on how to problem solve.

In my experience, the managers who take all the credit are the same ones without the skills to do the work themselves. I can only guess it’s because they lack the security of real competency, so they have to find some way of appearing qualified.

Competent leaders learn and grow with their role.

Incompetent bosses don’t understand how to balance and direct the needs of the business, so they task their team with the work and take all the credit.

Fun fact: Managers and other business leaders can also be women!

Many people don’t know this, but it’s an initiation ritual in many medical communities.

They extract and drink spinal fluid to assert their dominance over the human body.

There’s even a dance for the ceremony.
