So either one of the outlets down the line is tripping it or the gfci is bad. I’m going to tell you what I would do, not what you should do. I would shut the power off, pull the outlet out. Disconnect the Load wire, leave the line wire in (power from circuit box) hit the reset button and then turn the power back on. Did the GFCI stay active and not interrupted? If yes then one of the outlets downstream is tripping it. Did it interrupt still with load wire disconnected? Probably bad gfci outlet. This is not electrical advice and if any part of this seems daunting, please call an electrician.

Could be a bad gfci, they can go bad after time. I have usb outlets all over my house and they tend to go bad really quick too. It’s like they aren’t anchored into the outlet right. My money is on bad gfci, fuck around with a voltage meter and see what’s what if you’re comfortable at the gfci and go from there.
