That comparison is asinine. Vaccines don’t treat illness, they prevent it in the vaccinated individual and protect other people from contracting it. Mental illness can’t be prevented after it’s already taken root and isn’t contagious.

If a mentally ill person is sick enough to be a danger to themselves or others, they can (and often are) taken into inpatient programs for specialized care. So by your logic, all the idiots who refuse the vaccine should be interred? Bullshit all around.

Dogs are certainly very smart and capable of picking up characteristics over time, but the implication seems like he consciously decided one day to do what the cats do, which is not something dogs do.
