He’s just telling you though. He said he won’t talk to his mom or sister, but has he actually blocked them? You can explain over and over again how hurt you are and he could apologize over and over but does he actually do anything about it? If you think he’s serious and that this time he’ll actually do anything, then go to therapy. That will be the first step. It is difficult since he was raised around this behavior and no amount of explaining your hurt will guarantee he changes. Please go to therapy. Maybe him seeing how wrong that behavior is from a different person will help him realize?

I would say you also have a JNSO. I don’t understand how anyone could think that making racist comments or micro aggressions to their spouse is just normal or shrug it off? Reminds me of the Brock Turner case. The dude got like 6 months but was released early due to trauma from jail or some shit. His sentence was light so it wouldn’t fuck up his future. Rapists get lighter sentences than people who were caught with a little bit of weed. Such fucking bullshit.

Cheating has ALWAYS been around. You just hear about it more often now because people talk about it more. Plus, there are numerous ways we can find out people get cheated on and their stories. Like, on social media?
