Getting ready for my first late arrival day freshman year of high school. My sister was still in middle school so she was gone my stepdad was at work in the city of Chicago and my mom was also at work so I was home alone. I had the radio on listening to q101 and the DJ used to tell really stupid jokes and try to prank people, but this time it wasn't a joke I turn the TV on was watching for just a few moments where they were speculating whether or not it was an aviation accident or what happened when the second plane hit and it was determined pretty quickly that this was intentional.

It was a horrible and strange time. Everybody thought that all of the major cities were going to be hit. There were very few people in school and to be quite honest we didn't learn anything that day and I think we even all went home early, for those of us who actually came to classes. I remember there was a girl in my history class who didn't know where her dad was they hadn't heard from him and he worked in the towers... I guess her mom and dad split and he moved to New York. I don't think he made it if I remember correctly a few days later her mom pulled her from school.

At least I don't have to go to work today

Inability to hold it. It has happened once, and I went to the supervisor on duty and told them straight up, I needed to leave bc I had diarrhea and couldn't be there. She was so sweet, she offered me an immodium and told me to go home and get lots of fluids. I miss that job.

You may end up being forced to wait until you can move out. I had to pass on several cats I fell in love with prior to moving out bc we couldn't have another animal in the house where I was living. It broke my heart but then I found both of my babies when I did move out, and I'm glad that I waited.

German Shepherds are a ton of work. Maybe she feels 2 dogs is enough. Cats are great at calming as are fish. Fish could be a great way to prove to her you can take care of a living creature. Idk how old you are but tbh, I would say no to the dog too
