As far as I understand it, most cups are supposed to sit surrounding your cervix to catch the blood coming out. Mine is high enough that I can't reach enough of the cup to break the seal and get it out. Having a high cervix usually also means you have a deeper than average vaginal canal, though there can sometimes be some differences in where the cervix actually sits in the vagina compared to others' (my uterus tips forward as well, so cervix is also sightly more forward-oriented). People with more knowledge, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

I really like thinkEco cloth pads! I've also tried tree hugger, but find them too bulky. I strongly recommend cloth pads!

I bleed a ton and use reusable cloth pads with period undies as a backup. It's SO MUCH NICER than disposable pads or tampons. I hated the swampy way disposable stuff made me feel, and I have too high a cervix to use cups. YTA to op!

I don't have an accounting degree and I've never worked in public. Public is not at all as required as school makes you think. Just start applying to staff acct positions, even if you don't fit all the requirements, and get really comfortable with excel. Now is a super good time to be looking.

Don't stay anywhere more than 2 years was the answer for me, sadly. Just got to 6 figures this year. About 8 years, 4 jobs, 15-20k salary increase per job change. It's a very good time to be looking in my area.

Take out the silk but don't unrap the leaves and just put it on the top rack of the grill. So so easy and good

Often people drinking don't want to be around babies. That's pretty much it. If enough clientele complain to the staff, I can imagine they'd enact a rule like this to keep targeted customers happy and spending money.

I probably wouldn't be me without it, but I'd be lying if i said it didn't feel like a disadvantage. It's amazing how much the world takes the ability to see in your mind for granted.
Also I have a fucking awful short term memory, which I definitely feel holds me back in many avenues of life. But it is true that I really don't hold on to trauma or feel defined by how I used to be, so I guess that's a positive.

This does suck and I feel for Vermonters, but there are upsides. I grew up in Vermont (rural, upper valley area) and moved away about 10 years ago, though my heart is still there. I come back every few years, and until coming back this summer, I was very worried about VT and the amount of degradation, abandoned buildings, and depressed small town centers I've seen. This summer was a fucking complete turnaround. Towns have the community I grew up with again; I can visibly see that there is more tax money around and town centers are revitalized; long abandoned houses are either finally torn down or remodelled. It was night and day from the last time I was there in 2018. The housing situation sucks (exacerbated by people with vacation properties they hardly visit) and the influx of flatlanders brings challenges and annoyances, but damn, it was so nice to see the state I love regaining some of it's old form.

I don't listen to anything that's not fully scripted either. Yes, those types of shows do have scripted sections, but I cannot stand "chatty" style shows. I'd say the difference is more like, someone who prefers to listen to NPR (or maybe even books on tape) on the radio over morning shows.

As someone who will hold on to stuff a bit longer than I should, it's pretty clearly meant as a method for getting over that impulse to keep things that you're not using. That voice that says they could be useful someday or the emotional connection to something that is just clutter in every practical way can be a huge barrier to meaningfully cleaning your space, and the thanking thing is a healthy way to get past that barrier for some people. If you don't need it, don't bother with it.

I have my house number in 5 places on my house, fence and mailbox, including with lighting, and delivery drivers still can't find me. I'm on an end lot and oriented to the street weird, but I don't know what to do anymore. The numbers are all over the place!

Dreamed I had a multivitamin in my hand and my mind told me to eat it. Ended up it was an earplug, which I realized after I swallowed it and woke up. Don't recommend.

Mine is pretty long. Effectively the same as most men's- at least 20 mins or so- so I effectively can't have multiple orgasms. It's sad!
