I made the subreddit because I wanted a monopoly on all minecraft tournament subreddits... mcc hadn't even happened yet lol. it just happened to be that this one popped off, and not MCS or MCU, so we're still here a year later!

Dream used to get pretty salty, but nowadays he just seems to collapse when things go wrong instead of getting angry (I didn't watch green14, this is just what i've seen from peoples thoughts on it here). It's obvious he's changed and matured a lot since the earlier MCC's he was in, which is great to see if you ask me.

Yeah I was about to talk about Cyan16 here, I seriously think there's some merit to the idea of late SOT comebacks but you can't just play it like you'd always play it and hope another team fails, you need to play risky.

They usually get deleted, but yeah, they're pretty rare.

Also, I don't really think Illumina or Fruit check the reddit, I've never seen them here (unless im forgetting something about fruit, but im like 100% sure Illumina hasn't).

For one, the subreddit has gotten a lot better with not trying to stress participants out. "Predict X team/player low so they dont feel pressured" is one of our most common jokes, and overall teir nonsense is basically gone, with only S tiers having any sort of relevant discussion.

Participants need to stop treating this subreddit as something to be listened to over a website like twitter. Yeah, the subreddit is much less toxic then twitter, but that doesnt mean our thoughts on the event should matter any more, and many of the popular takes on here are just straight up bad. If a participant is feeling stressed about how they are talked about here, they can either say so publically (the reddit is pretty good with staying within peoples boundaries) or just stop listening to us.
