Yeah I’ve seen this too. I have a 1/2 acre native prairie I put on my property so the bees and birds have a ton of options. But they still like some of the non-natives in my small front flower beds, esp anything in the mint family. The bees also LOVE the bugleweed and it seems to bloom before a lot of other plants in the spring so I leave it.

Since the prairie has been established I’ve noticed a ton more insects of all types in general though, so even though the bees seem fine with invasives, I think it’s still better to go native for at least a large percentage of your yard.
