I guess I don't care if she has changed. The toxicity she has put out has damaged her kids, my parents finances and broken my relationship with my parents. But, you do have a valid point on being too rigid. I do tend to fall on that side of the spectrum, so maybe that is a characteristic I need to watch and keep in check.
