And there's people pissed that we're shaming them for waiting!
Yeah, because social stigmas can reinforce negative behaviors in others... So you're not ignorant in the future, you can start to understand that here.
And yes, assuming OP is genuine. I have my doubts, but even if it's a lie, it could still influence people.

I'm aware. I'm arguing that driving schools should be public or have a pubic option so we guarantee people get taught to drive correctly, which will decrease the number of fatalities on the roads. It's simply about making the roads a bit safer for all of us.

Republicans on 2017: let's cut all these taxes, and permanently cut corporate taxes while ignoring the deficit.
Republicans when Biden is in office: THE DEFICIT IS TOO HIGH.
That was actually more of my point than anything.
Also, forgive me if I think you're naive and ignorant to how politics works that you think any body can simply "reverse the tax cuts if they really wanted" without a supermajority.

You're absolutely right when it comes to ultimately what laws pass, butI disagree with "center right party" as a whole, unfortunately.
We have a big tent party... It just so happens that in conjunction with the far right party that the Neo-libs get more clout. I'm just looking at the progressive caucus, for one example.
But yes, it would be great to have a center left party instead of always catering to the right.

One side has "the eleventh commandment."
Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.[1][2]
Last I checked /r/republican they had it in their sidebar.
Edit: yup. Still there.
Even constructive criticism is considered ill...

The Trump tax cuts were made with the same idea:
Many tax cut provisions, especially income tax cuts, will expire in 2025,[10] and starting in 2021 will increase over time; this, by 2027 would affect an estimated 65% of the population and in that same year the law's provisions are set to be fully enacted,[11] however, corporate tax cuts are permanent.
They absolutely do this on purpose, because they need to keep gaslighting their base into blaming Democrats for everything possible.

As an American I know too many Americans who are ignorant on why this is important. Lane changes are a greater danger than speeding, and people are going to pass you regardless of lane, so enabling everyone to pass on the left is simply safer.
The worst part? I've met Americans who purposefully drive slow in the left lane because, "I'm tired of people going so fast." I wish I was lying

Because driving schools aren't mandatory and lots of drivers learn from their parents and peers and not professionals
I'm a huge advocate for tax funded driving schools for this very reason. It would reduce the amount of dangerous situations and accidents if there wasn't a money threshold involved... Go out to the poorer areas of my city and it's extremely noticable how bad the drivers are. I also know many people who waited until they were 18 to skip the schools.
I don't understand how such an easy fix to make the roads even 1% safer (UNDERestimated) isn't more widely held.

It's a moot point that mandates aren't laws, especially in casual conversation, because they hold the same level of enforcement. So when someone says
So do the cops just like, enforce only the laws they personally agree with?
It's completely irrelevant that they specify mandates or laws, the sentiment is the same regardless of the semantics used.
Maybe you should take a civics class or two. I'm sure foreigners here on Visas know more about how our government works than you, and that's embarrassing.

From Umberto Eco's Ur-Fascism, point 8
The enemy is both strong and weak. “By a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak.”
The full point reads as such
The followers must feel humiliated by the ostentatious wealth and force of their enemies. When I was a boy I was taught to think of Englishmen as the five-meal people. They ate more frequently than the poor but sober Italians. Jews are rich and help each other through a secret web of mutual assistance. However, the followers must be convinced that they can overwhelm the enemies. Thus, by a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak. Fascist governments are condemned to lose wars because they are constitutionally incapable of objectively evaluating the force of the enemy.

Blocking is a reactionary tactic. The statement's already been seen.
Not to mention trolls can often use bait tactics.
I'm sorry you can't see the issue here, though.

You know the funny part? I think I was banned from a sub that I've never participated in for commenting here. I got a random ban message around the same time I commented from /r/pokemongo

A law and a mandate have the same power to be enforced. The only difference is how it came to be...
A law is passed by the senate and the house of representatives and signed by the governor. A mandate is made by the governor, with the power given to them by the legislature in a state of emergency.
You do understand that, right? They're both enforceable the same way, so it's a moot point that mandates aren't laws.

And then these same people try to say Obama is a hypocrite... Like, we're vaccinated, ass clowns... We can do this stuff... They could too of they got vaccinated.

I think it was New Jersey... But I remember oncoming traffic on two lane roads where it was common for people to come to a complete stop to let me turn left...
I get it, that's nice, but it's also not safe.

It's called JAQing, and when it's done in bad faith (questions that have literally nothing to do with anything - it's actually parodied in this episode of south Park).
You see, I'm just trying to get people to clarify ambiguous comments, though... Because there's two different ways to take OP.
So, you've wrongly applied the bad faith questioning.

But seriously... I really do. I'm not talking about nonewnormal and whatnot, I'm talking about the ones that show up in politics, news, wptwitter, pics... Pics, especially, can have the weirdest set of comments depending on the post.
I also sort by controversial in the comment section... So there's that, too

Hey, you're the idiot trying to justify the actions of a woman who...
- Didn't comply with outdoor fences (pushed them aside)
- Didn't comply with police guards in the building entrances (beaten or chased off)
- Didn't comply with "Closed" signs (ignored)
- Didn't comply with "No Unauthorized Personnel" signs (ignored)
- Didn't comply with locked doors (broke through them)
- Didn't comply with emergency alarms (ignored)
- Didn't comply with literal barricades of office-furniture (smashed side-window and started climbing through)
- Didn't comply with armed guard on the other side of the barricade (ignored)
All while dozens of others with her who were doing the same, exact thing.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
