That would be a swing and a miss on the context of the conversation.

Stuff that's not needed to fill a gap isn't really the issue though, that's just expanding the tree. The difference with the lightning and jaguar is both where needed months before to fill gaps in trees, and both came after they where made obsolete.
Jaguar's should have been added with the T-2. Then lightning and early f104's should have been added before phantoms. That way we'd have had a smoother transition into mach and mach 2, and they'd have all had their chance to shine

Pre builds are the way to go currently with the parts shortages. My desktop recently decided to finally give up on me and it was a third of the price to get a laptop with the same capability, than to get the parts for my desktop (I wanted a laptop anyway for travel, decided to get one now to fill in for my desktop for a year or so until the parts become more reasonable)
As for the carpet, it's worth looking into, but people are being a little ott about it. The important thing is airflow, primarily for the power supply which is generally on the bottom at the rear of the case. Many cases these days account for people sitting them on carpet, but it doesn't hurt to stick something hard under it to play it safe.

I get that during the question is a dock move, but is it really wish endangering others just to make a point? Someone like that won't learn anything from it anyway.

And is a waste not to. With so many controls why not use a load that are within easy reach of your hand. I can't believe gaijin haven't fixed that yet.
Then again, I can't believe people have put up with it. It was one of the first things I googled a fix for when I got back into the game years ago.

Just look in your control binds and set it to whatever you want. I have it set to F myself as I use scouts a lot

All these years later and you still can't just rebind it normally. I did this years ago, I have f1 as cockpit view.

Sweden will be a big one for the Viggen. Will possibly see Britain get a boost too with their Skyflash and Doppler radar Phantoms being a new contender for top dog.

Sub par in some areas, amazing detail in others. It's a mixed bag.

To be fair, it's more importantly when the developers week starts. No point releasing it Friday then Fucking off for the weekend and hoping it works ok.

The Rice fields map is great for this too (and pacific hidden base, but that's sadly arcade only)

It's like the three gaming archetypes too. The one who's enjoying the thrill of the fight. The one who's getting stressed out and salty, and the one just vibin with some tunes on.

Yeah, Maus was a joke really. It was far from the worst balanced vehicle in game. Still waiting to see them sell it or use it for an event though.
Didn't know about the gladiators. Seems like an odd move.
But yeah I agree with that.

It's just an unnecessary jab, when asking for me to clear up a point is much easier. I didn't realise your point was that cheaper knives should be used, but you can also get high carbon spring steel knives or high grade stainless like 42116 for less than £10 if you really want, or whole sets for a reasonable price, especially through a wholesaler if you're buying in bulk, but you need to be careful not to go too cheap or the metal will likely be thinner and have a cheap handle. My point was more that you can get top class quality for a reasonable price, and a lot of these super expensive chef knives you're either being ripped off or paying for the name.
I didn't realise you're the same person I'm already talking to though, So no harm done but I'll leave it with the single conversation, as I think I droned on enough about metal in that one lol.

Yeah, unfortunately there are a lot of articles spreading misinformation and stating it as fact. I guess a story about a super steel lost to the ages is more impressive than methods to cut down on impurities and their coincidental side effects. It means it's tricky to just google information about it, which I guess a lot of knife manufacturers play on to be able to hike up the price.

To be fair, in America school level sports is more important as it can lead to getting team spots in collage level, which is almost as big as professional

Yeah... The saltiness scale was a joke lol. Sorry, I should have made that more clear. And I never said all knives are the same. I just pointed out that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a top quality knife that for all practical purposes is as good as the expensive ones. Things like balance, aesthetics, weight and shape aren't expensive to get right.
I'm going on a bit of a tangent here, so skip to the end if you're not interested in Damascus or folded steel, but it's a subject I know a fair bit about and never get a chance to talk about lol.
For a start, it needs to be made clear that the qualities of Damascus steel are covered in myth. There are three common metals referred to as Damascus. First is Wootz Damascus, this is the original and is essentially Indian crucible steel, and one of the first alloys, which is partly why it gained such a reputation, and took so long to recreate. The pattern comes from impurities, generally thought to have been aluminum slag, and wasn't present in all Damascus steel. Next is etching, the most common as it's just the famous pattern acid etched to prey much any metal. Finally there's the modern technique of pattern welding, which is actually considered to produce a better steel than wootz. The second two are more common these days.
Next is folded steel, which again, there's a lot of misconception about. Folding steel was a technique more commonly used with poorer quality steel to get out imperfections, hence it was famously used in Japan where they only had access to pig iron. It was also used in Europe, but dropped out of fashion pretty early on due to the availability of better steel and forging techniques that made it obsolete.
Wooz and folded steel are both shrouded in misinformation and myth, but aren't super metals that we can't beat despite having much better technology and access to better materials. A lot of the myth of wootz came from the fact it was better than many other steels at the time, using the new crucible forge and alloy technique. Then there's a misunderstanding about its carbon nanostructure adding strength. The myth with folding steel came from the fantasization of the samurai and katana from Japanese mythology. If someone advertises that their Japanese chef's knife is made using the same techniques as katana it's almost always a knockoff and a rip off. Same if they show a smith sat over a traditional forge in a dingy room. Modern quality Japanese steel isn't made the same as it was when samurai roamed the land.
TLDR; sorry for the novel, but essentially Damascus and folded steel are misunderstood and over rated. They can still be used for chef knives, and will make very good ones, but these days we have better steels like 4116 krupp, that can both hold an edge and are resistant to corrosion and rust. Or if you really want a high carbon blade, we have spring steel which is better than anything they had access to back then.
