By the time you will actually need to use your swap Scroll, it will be much more about investment of resources other than fodder. My izold is +30, 9/9 and falling off, so likely in the near future I will swap him, not because he’s ascended but because of all the other investment in him!

I’m not criticizing what you have going on! I understand why you’re doing it now, I’m just letting you know when you really start investing in heroes, many of them don’t do as well later as others!

With everything I say keep in mind that the most important part is whether you have fun and like your characters!

Peggy falls off hard, thali becomes not too great quickly as well. Desire I’ve heard is really good but I still only have one copy, Alna one of the best in the game, but you’ll find out elite won’t be enough.

I’d highly suggest looking at a priority guide made within the last 3 months. Inseasons wishlist guide might really help point you in the right direction of which heroes are worth investing into! Chapter 11 is really early though so mostly it will be about what heroes you can actually get!

I really appreciate seeing this on here, I’m a new student teacher myself and seeing many of the posts on here has had me terrified. In your experience how can you tell whether the admin will be supportive?

Does the full release of Merlin change the ainz comp at all? I’m wondering if it is still worth to build mortas to mythic

Umm excuse me, he said in 8 years, so yes he started adding tons, but if the election hadn’t been STOLEN he would have it eliminated by 2024! /s

I have just about every meta hero about where they need to be, or atleast closer than grezhul, which is why I named him (plus that would complete my alna gb team) but I guess the meat of the question was is it safe to swap out izold, and judging by your reaction it seems it is, if the addition of alna, Merlin and eluard can’t save izold comp I’d assume he’s dead for the future. I really do appreciate your response on it though, I know it can be a tiresome type of question, I’m just so afraid to waste something like that, I’m the type of player who’s never foddered an ulmus just in case I need him some day!

Thanks so much for this guide! Seeing this now I have more concerns for what I have built than I’ve had before. It does leave me with a couple questions though!

  1. I’m in chapter 36, with a +30 9/9 izold, and +10 1/9 grezhul, would it be worth to swap them? And I get that such an overasked question, so perhaps I’ll rephrase- a highly invested hero is being phased out, what are the most important heroes that require +30 9/9.

  2. What are the required investments to make a couple of the flex picks work? namely Isabelle, antandra and desira.

Thanks again for this write up!

I’m wondering this myself. Khazard probably low because as far as I’m aware the comps aren’t about keeping him alive, and mehira is probably similar, because her damage comes from enemies bashing themselves

I think that’s a fair restriction if they’re gating it behind having ascended heroes to access it like if they did it as a constellation. If it just becomes a feature, I think they should not do that, because there are so many heroes in the game it makes new players less likely to be able to build heroes properly. A new player being able to block things like ulmus, walker, baden etc gives them a boost too. So I think it depends on how they would implement the system.

I think you made a good point with wishlist, I think that clarifies things. And actually what I was saying for celepogeans was that sniping would be good because it makes it a bigger selling point for whales. If they can hoard purple stones, and make sure they don’t get most of the celepogean heroes they have maxed, and instead are more likely to draw the new heroes they’re looking for, this makes the stones (slightly) more exciting for whales again. The overall rate would still be I think the 1/40 but hitting that would actually be likely to bring them the hero they want. This doesn’t apply the same way for most normal players because we wouldn’t want to use the block list for such niche uses, whereas that would be about the only use for whales

Discussion What would you guys think about a block list?

I think any good new system, SI, furniture etc should benefit big spenders more and faster, but it shouldn’t screw f2p out of feeling like they’re making progress. So I really do hope that they only make it necessary for max 2-3 stars on celepogeans, even if they give benefits up to 5 stars I hope nothing that high is necessary to make a character live up to what they need to do to feel powerful, otherwise I think this update will burn out a lot of people.

Yes you should probably gaze not 100% of the time but with most of your gems, make a few of the endgame comps, I would also suggest using your swap scroll on Lucius, swap to something like thoran, raku or another teammaker so you can clear multi team levels a lot easier.

r/afkarena Jun 24 '21

Question I was wondering for those who have a clue, is the rate of pulling celepogeans still 4% when getting an epic/from epic soulstones, and how your rates line up.
