Labor is central at best, Greens are left.

Like the others said it adds and extra 2 totems. If all your damage is from totems then that one gem is a 40% DPS boost going from 5 to 7 or 50% going 4 to 6 totems.

And that is ignoring the fact you can drop your totems twice as fast because the gem lets you drop 2 at a time.

If you're like me and run blindly into mob packs all the time a phase gem is nice for a quick retreat

I'm brand new player, I just got second build into red maps in 2 days with FR Totem so it's never too late. The only hurdle I see now is the trade prices are going up 100x what they were last week. I assume this is a mix of more currency from more players in deep end game and more currency for people to flip with.

I just started 2nd build, FR Totem. First few levels were painful but I'm in maps now and I think this will actually be even better than skelly mages but the price of gear just keeps going up, I assume as more and more people get into high endgame we get hyperinflation?

Random but weighted towards 1 isn't it

Yeah I do this and also when I'm buying I normally filter for listings less than 1 day old and I seem to get more replies.

I did it with 1ex the other day, got it from a small chest near the start, maybe second one I opened and I could have just left but I saw the opportunity to get a taste of HC so kept going, I ended up dying in about the same spot on the way out waiting for a door to open... I should have cleared behind me but I sprinted into the door instead. It was actually pretty fun.

I hit 2ex in 2 rolls on him so figured I've had my share early and won't go near him now.

I only started playing in the last 2 weeks and I'm loving it. I probably got lucky with my first build pick, went skeleton mage necromancer and was pretty easy from lvl1 all the way into end game content, this won't be the case for every build.

You will need to buy more stash space or you're really going to slow yourself down by having to constantly be sorting what to keep/vendor and not being about to trade easily. I played the game for a few days before I decided to spend anything, If you do end up buying points make sure to get First Blood Pack, it's a bit hidden and listed at the bottom of the packs web page, you'll basically get 1 free stash tab.

I just started playing poe for the first time a week ago and picked skelly mage, I've made it to t15 maps atm. It pretty hard not to die at least once in there so im spending most of my time in t11-13 and I basically just run the whole way through safely and this is as a complete noob.

I've spent about 10ex (3 of that was on bindings for 6l just because I wanted to do it myself once) but got to yellow maps on 1ex total but I have noticed the prices of items for this build skyrocketing the last few days, unset rings I picked up for 20c last weekend are now 2ex minimum

I was feeling lucky yesterday and did my first 6l after 2215 bindings...

I've been playing for less than 2 weeks, I'm in t15 maps atm. Along with the awkward trading the difficulty in swapping skills points is something I love about this game. If gave my decisions some actual weight because I thought I was going to be carrying whatever skill I pick up to the end.

I did swap some points around and I think the 20 odd respect points in the acts is ample, for me getting to level 60 at end of acts and the fact most builds I looked at used the same skill points close to the start of the tree I could probably have reclaimed 40-50% of the points and swapped builds.

I'm only new myself but I have noticed a lot of underpriced items and if you whisper the sellers they will never reply. I assume their sole purpose is to make new players or someone posting quickly to post at a much lower price so they can buy the item from you and flip it for profit.

I look how long ago the lowest priced posts have been up for, most people are going to buy based on price so the cheapest ones should be up for the least amount of time so I just ignore all prices until I start seeing post up for less than 1 day.

Knowing how much an item that doesn't fit into my build is kinda hard but if there isn't a comparable item up because I don't know what combo of prefix/suffix other builds want as I've only played the one, if I have a feeling something is going to be sort after I just post it at 1ex and drop it by 5c each time I log in.

Last tip, never trust global for a price check, I asked about a jewel and had 2 people tell me it was trash, I stuck it in my 1ex tab with the intention of dropping the price down quicker than 5c a day before vendoring it and it sold within 30mins.

I only started playing POE just over a week ago and I was keen to not use any guides etc for the first playthrough, I do this for pretty much every game. All that changed as soon as I got my first skill points and opened that massive skill tree... Literally said wtf and went straight to Google. I probably could have finished Act10 on my own but it would have been hard and probably would have involved rerolling a few times. I can't imagine many people would try tackle it without looking at a build guide as a minimum.

Is gun assault like the rate IF you get shot or just the chance of getting shot and dying? Because if second option that's fucked

I did a PSU the same way, turned off at the wall powered off pc, some poor screwdriver work and pop goes the psu. I now religiously turn off at wall and press the power button on the pc to discharge whatever is left in there before I do anything.
