I’d even venture to say those questioning people are probably the white males she’s talking about too.

Anyways I’m going to assume you’re incapable of understanding and explain in a really demeaning tone.

Tbh lots of white guys don’t use shampoo. My hair frizzes out when shampooed so I just rinse with water and scrub my hair daily. My hair is much healthier and doesn’t look greasy now that my my head doesn’t produce as much oils. The first month my hair was a wreck though

Dude DS Master student here, spill the beans. How’d you get the job?

Nor sure how far north you are, but Portland has one.

When I got it, I thought it was like the fried chicken I'd make at home. Which was nice, just not the best thing ever. That sweet tea though, that's my jam.

Question, do y'all consider school half time or full time? I've always heard take college and divide it in half and that is your experience.

Look at the new variants, here's an MIT article. People still wearing their masks are concerned about being asymptomatic and spreading the virus because we still don't understand delta variant well.

From u/DrillWormBazookaMan up the thread:

He incited a riot that attempted to halt the certification of the election that he again so clearly and obviously lost.

Who do you think was at this riot, and what were they trying to do? In fact, what role does the military play in putting Trump in power in the Q conspiracy that gets many of the extremist alt-right MAGAs so excited?

Common man, I can see all of the comments of this thread. I'm either astounded by how dense you are, or you're a very convincing troll.

Dude, just look at the Wikipedia for fascism. You don't need to be genocidal to be a fascist, it's just far-right authoritarian ultranationalism. Your standard alt-right chud would be fascist-lite despite the lack of a mustache. No need to split hairs and hyperfocus on semantics.

My advice take it or leave it (finished my undergrad in 19 and am finishing my Masters in Dec) If you’re still in college, only take jobs relevant to your career field, even if it’s the crappiest underpaid job. I don’t have words to express how bleak and depressing the job market is right now. I haven’t heard any success stories of anyone that I graduated with regardless of economic standing.

Just watched the movie. So how does the pregnancy happen? The ovulation window is extremely short and sperm has a short lifespan. How would the sperm get to an ovulating egg before it dies?

My girlfriend was feeling really bad about her self image about a year ago, didn’t like her stomach, hated how at certain angles she had a double chin, felt really bad about a spot on her tooth. Just so many hurts about her image for anything that wasn’t perfect. She was even concerned for a while that she had stretch marks, which she has none (it’s magic, idk how her skin does it, I’ve got so many).

So I had her uninstall Instagram because I had had it and she needed to feel better. Seriously within the first 2 weeks she was totally back to normal and would even mention how hot she looked. Now she gets on it occasionally but still rarely uses it and her self image is SO MUCH better. I couldn’t believe the influence it had on her. What was really interesting too is that she doesn’t follow many celebrities, it was her friends.

It’s such a toxic environment to constantly see people, that don’t look like real people. Cannot recommend going cold turkey on the socials for a little bit.

Right with you OP, finishing up my Master's in DS in a few months so I have been interviewing and doing as many applications as I can get ahold of. And the hoops are just burning me out. Haven't had any super hard projects but the time commitments with full-time work and school is a nightmare.

I did a 2-hour long interview last week and another 2-hours long one Monday and have been working on a two-week-long assignment.

Saw a guy come in with a citation on nonewnormal about how masks didn't necessarily protect in this one particular study of influenza. And OP completely ignored the many many other recommended papers on that same article that showed it protected somewhat against influenza and was very good against Covid.

Whole Oregon really too, I just took pictures of a borderline teardown house on a quarter-acre in Halsey that was getting listed at $300,000. Who wants to live in Halsey? They don't even have sidewalks and barely have functioning roads!

I had a family member complaining about people wanting better pay for teachers (he's an elementary school teacher), justifying that it's an easy job. A couple of years down the road, can you guess what he just got his master's degree in education for?

Darn, that's kinda disappointing. I suppose you'd probably get banned right away in the places where you'd get the really crazy responses. If you choose to make a sub though, please share!

You got to make these responses a subreddit. I'd eat that stuff up!

COMMENT Jul 12 '21

Dude no, you're just moving the goal posts. The Initial comment was about how most leftists do not want the full-blown communism like the countries you want me to pick from. If you want examples of socialism working in the US google Co-ops. They are essentially what socialists want the economy to be. You can add any other spin to it, but socialism is an economic system specifically for laborers to benefit more from their production. This adds wealth and freedoms for working class people because they vote democratically for policies in the work place.

You're adding extra buzz words and connotations into an economic system that do not have the things you're complaining about, because you do not understand it.

0

COMMENT Jul 12 '21

That's not true. Some people want communism and believe it is the preferred economic model. Yes, many authoritarian regimes and leftist nations have failed from numerous factors. But socialism and socialist policies have not always failed.

In the late 1800s and 1900s, the labor battles in the United States were fronted by American socialists. And to say that is failed, immoral, or murderous is disingenuous and unamerican, American capitalism is built on these roots. Just because you do not understand what leftism means does not mean it is a failure.

COMMENT Jul 12 '21

To reiterate what u/iamthedayman21 said, most people on the left do not want full-blown communism. So it doesn't matter if it was real communism/done right, because that's not what most people want.

Just because you have preconceived notions of leftist beliefs doesn't mean leftists adhere to it.
