Its not that creepypastas are terrible. Its just that most of the original stories that got popular are actually quite bad. Slenderman has been ruined by movies and the stabbings, and Ben Drowned (although amazing) would probably be struck down due to copyright if it was made into a series.

As a creepypasta fan, I have to say that Channel Zero was great.

I'm so glad Candle Cove got a chance in the spotlight instead of Jeff the goddamn killer or another Slenderman story.
