There's a frustratingly large number of people in America that do not realize that neoliberalism is a right wing ideology.

I haven't read the entire thread yet but I haven't seen anyone mention that this tank is too small for goldfish. They would be fine for a little while but they get absolutely massive eventually. Look up full size goldfish. Trust me, it's better to just return it.

Other than the mollies you have used 12 of your 29 gallons in bio load.

Can you expand on this? I had always read one inch of fish per gallon but of course I know it depends on the fish. I'm curious because I was thinking of a rather similar setup in my 40 gallon (honey gouramis, neons, and cherry barbs) but now I'm thinking I might be able to fit more of each fish than I originally realized.

How long has it been, almost 10 years now? I feel like most people get down votes just for pointing this stuff out now, and it's always the same rhetoric every time. "its the internet not english class nobody cares your just a grammar nazi" "I'm to lazy too care"

I'm pleasantly surprised to see this comment so high up.

Is there any way to generate a nude Tayne?

Edit: in case anyone is confused by the comments

What? No. Why would you assume that? As much as they would obviously want to, that's so very clearly against the law. I worked in restaurants for a decade including fine dining. You get all your tips, they're just taxed if they're on a card.

"He was fishing in 2,600 feet below the surface when he made the catch."

I'm not assuming anything dipshit.

COMMENT 10d ago

Well he was intentionally fishing at extreme depths wasn't he? You don't just accidentally throw out 2600 feet of line. Anything you pull up from that depth would die from the change in pressure. It's a pretty fucked up thing to do.

Also just a complete moron and has obviously never been pregnant / gotten someone pregnant. The internet baffles me sometimes. People love to just shout to the whole world "I have no idea what I'm talking about, but here's my opinion anyway."

When this first hit the news cycle I read that the law would allow all American citizens to participate, not just Texans.

Of course it wouldn't apply in Canada.

COMMENT 11d ago

Oh totally. I'm saying I actually don't think he did anything wrong by listening to his sergeant's order to arrest the guy. He didn't know what had happened before he got there so his superior's word would have been good enough to go on in that limited time frame. But I believe he should have known better than to use pepper spray because that was a result of actions that had occured after he had arrived.

He was demoted first. He continued working for about a year until the investigation concluded and then he resigned.

2

COMMENT 11d ago

Yeah he's absolutely correct and if I'd taken a second to think about it then it would have been obvious. He was just already riding the downvote train, so Redditors did him dirty on that last comment.

1

COMMENT 11d ago

On the arrest, sure. The pepper spray was excessive force.

COMMENT 11d ago

No, only Shimanek was demoted. The other officer was cleared of all wrongdoing. He faces no punishment whatsoever.

COMMENT 11d ago

I don't understand the question. Clearly it wasn't happening in this video, so yes...?

3

COMMENT 11d ago

I get what you're trying to say but effective is not the right word. If you knock someone out then your punches were absolutely effective.

COMMENT 12d ago

Did you know that in harsh sunlight it has only 50% accuracy? I still don't know why.

What is up with this trend of unsuspectingly blowing your speakers out? It started with videos that were clearly meant to troll people, and now we're just slapping it onto videos that would otherwise be interesting. Is it funny to some people or something? I don't get it.
