Lol, did you read that article? It completely undermines your point. Anyway I'm sick of talking to you, you're either an idiot or a troll (probably both). I'm going to block you so I won't have go read this level of stupidity again. Hugs and kisses.

No it fucking isn't, you clown.

I'm Australian.

And no one can seriously believe it's as bad as the n word, come on lol. Did you just wake up this morning and decide to post nothing but shit takes?

COMMENT 8h ago

Honestly I can't be fucked with either of them any more, especially because I'm mostly looking for a good single player game. Fifa plays nothing like actual football, and I can't be arsed fucking about with the options files in pes. Plus quick short passing in PES is so OP against the AI that it kinda kills the game.

Being less sympathetic, in these circumstances, is a cunty opinion to hold. I'm not saying you're a cunt, just that this particular opinion of yours is cunty. Is that clear enough for you?

0

COMMENT 9h ago

If someone has been an asshole, of course you’d be less sympathetic.

Yes, I already know you think this. I'm saying that's a shitty thing to think about an injury like this. The significance of the injury is far too disportionate to the assholishness for me to feel any sense of schadenfreude whatsoever.

COMMENT 9h ago

Whatever, I don't really care how you found it. You shared it here because you think he's owed less sympathy because he was mean to Kane, and I think that's a shitty opinion to hold.

1

COMMENT 9h ago

Not really, because I have no control over the team's training or tactics. The only difference that my positive outlook will have is on myself.

0

COMMENT 9h ago

So you didn't come across it when googling his name?

Whatever, I don't really care how you found it. You shared it here because you think he's owed less sympathy because he was mean to Kane, and I think that's a shitty opinion to hold.

COMMENT 9h ago

Sure, but another way to look at this is that we've managed three wins from four despite significant player absences and the introduction of a new system and coach, and despite playing below the levels at which our players are capable of performing. There's room for improvement and we're capable of improving. I'm not saying it's all roses but it's been a bit doomer in here from some of you.

COMMENT 9h ago

Nah, Martin Jol's sacking was much worse.

COMMENT 9h ago

I don't believe you. This is hardly the first response when you google his name, you would have had to go looking. Plus, even if that's true, why share this right after he got injured? Because you clearly think he's owed less sympathy because he was mean to Kane.

And no one's saying "we should praise him because he got injured", don't be daft.

I'm familiar with his comment in full, I've shared it elsewhere in this comment chain. It seems incredibly clear to me that he was not claiming our first half performance was good. I don't agree that it's a word salad either, I think it's pretty clear what he's saying.

COMMENT 10h ago

"Other people have been cunts in the past" is not a justification for us being cunts now.

And this was never about whether he deserves extra attention because he's young. Why did you share that video?

0

COMMENT 10h ago

Idiotic take. It's a very serious injury to a young, promising player right at the start of what was expected to be a breakthrough season, and the fact that he's a knob doesn't change that nor make him any less worthy of sympathy.

COMMENT 10h ago

Boo fucking hoo, lol. They have perhaps the most expensive premier league squad of all time, missing one player is hardly an excuse.

Before anyone chips me about the most expensive thing, I'm talking about wages.

COMMENT 10h ago

So the first half went according to plan.

I can't understand why so many people think this is what he was saying. You're taking that control comment out of context, I think. If you read his actual comments, he clearly said the first half wasn't good enough. He said we didn't create enough and needed to improve.

1

COMMENT 11h ago

I didn’t say he said he was happy with it

I never said you did.

I said he stated we were in control, which you also just proved by dropping the quote

I never disputed that he said that.

Sick of people desperately trying to make us feel some schadenfreude about his injury. There's no such thing as karma and, if there was, the injury would be a disproportionate response.

COMMENT 11h ago

His comment in full was:

We just look at the game so we had a lot of obstacles during the game to overcome. It was not easy for the boys today. But in the first half I think we were in control of the game, didn't create too much but didn't allow too much also. So both teams were in the game but like you said the team losing a player and all these things, but I think we overcame that and at half-time we spoke and the perspective was to improve in the second half, but it didn't happen. Even in the beginning before the penalty, one man down, but even in that moment we showed resilience, we were strong. and the penalty came. But a lot of situations we have to look at and be fair to say that we didn't perform as well as we should.

The narrative in here seems to be that he was happy with the first half performance, which he clearly wasn't.

COMMENT 13h ago

What's interesting to me is how people latched on to that and got really mad about it, but if you read it in context he's saying something completely different to what the narrative has become on here.

COMMENT 13h ago

Nah. Overpriced, overrated.

Excellent! Thanks.

Yep, Reguilon in particular was really poor going forward, gave it away cheaply more than once.

Thanks for this! I want to start watching the women's team so the responses everyone's been giving me here are super helpful.
