I have a cat that we found dumped out in the country when he was a kitten. He was dumped so young that he never learned how to "cat" properly from his mama. I wish I had thought of this to help him!!

It's so cool how they can spool out silk like a rope for webbing or in a wide swath like cling film

Completed First finished project. Loved the process! But really disappointed with the finished product. Ironically it looks way better in the pic I took than it does in person. But it was a cheap one from Amazon. Does anyone have any brands on Amazon that they like that are better quality but don't cost $$$?

Oh my goodness, this killed me! I have a stutter due to some brain damage and "S" words are the hardest. I would die on the number after 5!

Thanks for showing this comparison. I'm lazy and never thought blocking was worth it, but this shows it most definetly is!

I abandoned my first big blanket because I saw how much sewing and end weaving I'd have to do...

My car found his way to my recently finished project that I was laying flat to dry. πŸ˜„

Right?!? That's how I feel right now using 4. I've exclusively used 5 or 6 yarn for the longest and decided to try a project with "average" weight and it feels so tiny and like it takes forever to work up. πŸ˜†

I need to make this into a bucket hat that I can wear to give my husband a heads up on how I'm doing that particular day/hour.

You can youtube wild animal calls and sounds to try and verify what you've heard. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there is a den with babies even though it's still pretty early into spring. Also look for scat, that's always a good way to identify animals. But it sounds like you're already doing much of what you should. Is there a way you could alter your path for a few months? And you can always call fish and game for advise/help.

I'm using 1 1/2 size bigger than the label recommend which I've read is what you are to do with tunisian. Actually I've read you're only supposed to go up 1 size but I didn't have the in-between size in my hooks so just went for the next closest thing.
