That is consistent with what I have heard from other people.
But I do think they have enough cash and good enough people at the top to be able to turn it around.

It goes deeper than that, in my opinion.
China has seen what happened to the USSR when it fully industrialized and had to pivot to post industrialization (e.g., capital markets and service industry) to fuel further growth.
It didn't work out.
Now China is more or less in the same position. They tried to grab Hong Kong and cut the cap gain rates thinking they could attract capital and, I think more importantly, talent.
Now they are trying to open a new exchange in the mainland.
But without the rule of law, there can not be a thriving capital market. China will learn that sooner or later.

They hate each other too.
There are many very powerful clans within Pashtuns who really don't like each other.
It'll be interesting to see how it's going to go down between the Haghani network and the rest of Taliban.

Everyone has to be seen as fighting for "the Cause".
Politics is a game of optics, not substance.

It wont be derailed completely.
Manchin has said before he could see a 2T package. I expect this to end up around there. They cant walk it back now. Massive promises were made to WVa workers about renewable energy jobs and Manchin would be in hot waters if those dont materialize.

AMD and Nvidia dont have an insurmountable lead. They are ahead of Intel for sure for now, but I believe intel has what it takes to get back in the game.

Yep.
But I'll open a position in that thing if it falls below 50. I think the new management will turn it around and they have more than enough cash to fund a new wave of innovation.

Nothing you can do. Just wait.
You are most likely going to be fine.

I actually dont give too much a shit about "power" in that case. I wanna send as many rounds down the range in as short of a time as possible while maintaining reasonable accuracy and knowing that the rounds can penetrate more than just the skin of the damned thing. 556 does just that.
Also, that was my minimum, not my preference.

I'm very confident even a polar bear wouldn't be able to take more than one or two 30.06 rounds to their body before going through some serious shock.

Depends on what the fire arm is.
5.56 NATO or larger? If you have enough of it and there is more than 200 yards of distance, I would open on the bear and save 1 for me.
Anything smaller? I'm ending it.

Exactly.
The best director I ever worked with who is loved by all the partners AND clients has a full sleeve tattoo. Nobody gives a fuck.
One of my managing directors has tattoos on her arms and she wears tops with videos on. Nobody gives a fuck.
I think unless you have very visible tattoos on your neck/face area, you should be fine.

Civilian here. Late 20s.
Ive got associates working for me who are this age. They are generally goofing around and doing what people in their early 20s do.
To think 13 fine folks who could have been in their shoes are not with us hits hard.
I dont know how yous go through this... I really dont.

The thing about guys like him is that it very likely never even crossed his mind that it was his life on the line.
He just did what came natural to him.
I really do hope there is an afterlife and/or a resurrection, just so that I can talk to people like this.

The old management left the company with a solid balance sheet.
It's up to the new management to leverage this into outstanding tech advantage.

Jacked up consumption tax.

They seem to think about it differently.
Airforce leadership seems to prefer having 10,000 pilots who are OK at their job over 1000 who are good over 100 who are the best.
That's why they keep kicking people up or out. So that they can train more.
In the event shit actually hits the fan, they are hoping they can get a large chunk of those trained pilots back in the ranks and go from there.

Not enough folks who meet the minimums try to get commissions which is why we have this situation.
It's a game of numbers, really.
