Oh my bad, I read it too fast and thought the first sentence was "you can only use aloy on PS network"

COMMENT 12h ago

First one just enter from above. Second one the shrine will unlock once you get all 4 seelies in place. You can use your elemental sight near the statue to see the general direction where the seelie is located.

Xiangling and Bennet are both well worth investing into in the long run, they work well together and as great support. Bennet especially is a solid support for many teams.

I really want Zhongli, Kaz, and another big damage dealer for a second team. Kaz was so good but I was saving for Ayaka (don't regret that since Ayaka is so good) but I do wish I had him. Zhongli after being buffed is simply amazing in terms of defenses which is really nice and wish I had him for making Ning more viable. Then a second big carry DPS would be nice (Ganyu, Xiao, Hu Tao) though most interesting to me may be Xiao given I have a cryo and I have other pyro. But in the end I've done well for a second team with Raiden and some quick swaps. This banner has been amazing for that + some good 4 stars.

Why didn't you use Oz while Cryo was applied from Qiqi to lower her physical resistance?

1

COMMENT 12h ago

Yes it's unlocked via quests.

COMMENT 12h ago

This is not true. You can use Aloy on any device if you get her through a linked account. The bow you can also use on any device but the special effect of the bow will only work when on PlayStation.

Mona only replaces Xingqiu on freeze comps. Her debuff increases dmg taken by 56% (at lvl 8) for a hit that bursts her bubble (literally) and 4 or 5 seconds after. However, if the target is frozen more cryo damage won't pop the bubble meaning you can get that debuff on the target for 12-13 seconds in total (and it'll still pop for that insane dmg). That makes her insanely OP for a freeze comp but not as much for other comps compared to Xingqiu.

That said the other use of Mona is to have her stack a ton of Elemental Mastery and there's a trick with Bennet and Sucrose where you can use Bennet's burst, Sucrose's burst w/ EM buff, and Mona's burst using Bennet's ground effect to trigger a vaporize that will be a massive hit from Mona. To the point where I've seen people set it up and one shot bosses. But that's relatively hard to build around.

COMMENT 13h ago

With your team built a bit in the right way you can get 36/36. The other guy mentioned Ayaka but you actually can do the most OP combo ever for a cryo DPS comp and that's the Morgana comp: Ayaka, Mona, Venti, Diona.

Mona enables freezes easily and her burst applies a 56% (at lvl 8) dmg taken debuff on the enemies while they're locked in her bubble. But here's the thing, when the enemy is frozen doing more cryo damage doesn't break the bubble meaning you can make it last for 12-13 seconds. Add onto that VV shred from Venti and you're golden. My Ayaka I used on the 2nd half of all three floors and 12:1 second half with that comp she killed it within a minute or faster.

Follow this guide but substitute Ganyu for Ayaka: https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin\_Impact/comments/nst4s4/morgana\_team\_comp\_visual\_guide/

I use them each week for that item that consumes random things you have and spits back out some rewards. Usually nets me some good exp books and ascension mats.

You could do a physical damage comp with Razor, Raiden, Kaeya, and Diona. Electro + Cryo lowers physical resistance hence Razor and Raiden pairing well together. Kaeya would enable the reactions (as would diona) and Diona would be your shield/heal.

You could do Xiangling and Raiden as the basis for a quick swap kind of group. Those often rely on tossing out tons of abilities/bursts and Raiden is a great enabler of that. Xingqiu is in the shop this month if you've got the tokens for him and he would be an amazing addition to that comp but otherwise anyone else with high cost, high dmg, bursts is good. With what you've got I would basically do Xiangling, Kaeya, Raiden, Diona/barbara. Sara might also be nice if you're good at keeping her dmg buff going but I find that a bit clunky. Having rotating fire + cryo around you while you go nuts with Raiden, though, should be a winning combo.

You could also try using Xiangling as a main dps (her being C6 is especially nice). Sucrose is a good pairing with her but you'd need someone else to help with reactions. Once again Kaeya would do well there to make a melt comp for Xiangling, and once again you'd have your last spot be Diona/Barb for healing and support (I always prefer Diona). You actually could try this as a slight variation of the Raiden comp but overload isn't as good of a reaction as melt.

Edit to add: In terms of weapons whenever you're not using Raiden I'd put The Catch onto Xiangling, otherwise your setup doesn't seem too bad.

You can put together a Raiden nationals style comp that's all about cycling high powered bursts. I use that as my team 2 (and this was the first time I got 36/36 abyss stars) but I use Xingqiu in that since I have Mona for my Ayaka comp (which is otherwise quite similar). Without XQ, though, the comp would look like this:

Raiden, Xiangling, Chongyun, Bennet.

The idea would be to use Raiden's elemental skill, then cycle through your other chars using skills and once all bursts are up blow them all and then go to Raiden and use her burst last to do a bunch of damage and refill burst meters for the team. then just rinse and repeat.

Otherwise you have Yanfei and Yoimiya which means you could pick your favorite of the two and go for a pyro comp. Pyro comps are similar to your Ayaka comp but with Bennet as your healer (and for pyro resonance) and then since you're already using XQ you could use a cryo support to make it a melt comp. Perhaps Kaeya though that would mean Yanfei/Yoimiya would have to be closer for his ice to hit. Rosaria may not be a bad choice here either. You also could use Sayu as your anemo to lower pyro resist and she can hit pretty hard. She would be a doubling of a healer so may not be needed but honestly if she's not C1 then you'd just want the anemo effect and dmg anyway.

Edit to add: You could do a physical DPS comp with Razor and Raiden along with a cryo support. Rosaria/Kaeya are probably best as Chongyun would infuse, but Electro + Cryo lowers physical resistance and Raiden applies electro like there's no tomorrow and Razor does a lot of phyiscal damage. Pick your healer of choice really, but Qiqi would give Cryo resonance which is nice.

Your usual team has some redundancy. You generally don't need both Qiqi and Jean unless you've built Jean to be all about that damage, but even then she probably heals enough. You'll want to go one of two directions, one is to pick a main DPS and build around that character for support, and the other is to try for a quick-swap style team where you basically spam abilities and don't do many regular attacks.

For the former your main DPS candidates are:

Yanfei, Ningguang, Noelle, or Xinyan. I'd recommend either Ningguang or Yanfei and given your support options (I'll talk more about this in a sec) probably Yanfei.

Yanfei would mean a pyro ranged team and that easily makes Xingqiu a must have to partner with her. He will make every one of her attacks also attack with Hydro allowing you to do a vaporize reaction with almost every hit. To further increase damage you usually want to toss in an anemo character that uses the VV set in order to make a swirl that lowers pyro resistance. Jean is great if you want to have a character that can do that + heal and do some damage. Your alternative is Sucrose who's also great at range and has some CC and gives you an Elemental Mastery buff. The excellent part of the EM buff from Sucrose is that will give you a boost to the vaporizes you do with Xingqiu. Lastly you'll want either a healer or another sub dps depending on if you use Jean or Sucrose. If you use Sucrose I'd grab someone like Diona/Barbara/Qiqi, if you use Jean you could maybe add in your Fischl but electro may get in the way of your hydro vaporizes and overload is worse than vaporize. You could use Xiangling there since she does give a bit of an ATK buff and throws out a lot of pyro damage from off field, plus it would give you fire resonance for 25% more attack. The only downside is Yanfei isn't always in close range for pyro-nado.

If you went for Ning you'd want her to have another geo character for geo resonance. Usually people partner her with someone like Albedo/Zhongli but with you have it would have to be Geo traveler or Noelle. Geo traveler might be the better option there unless you really want/need Noelle's shields. But Noelle's shield healing only works on her so that's kind of a bummer. The last two spots can be filled in with a support and sub DPS, again Xingqiu or Xiangling could work alongside Jean/Diona/Qiqi.

I don't have a ton of experience with Xinyan so apologies but Noelle you probaby won't want as main DPS b/c to do that really takes a lot of investment and generally requires C6 so she gets an ATK boost based on DEF.

For quick swap teams you'd probably want Xiangling, Xingqiu, Sucrose, and then a flex. The flex would likely be a healer so Diona/Qiqi/Barb. The idea for that comp would be to cycle abilities and bursts and create a lot of reactions.

One character to keep an eye out for would be Bennet. Bennet would slot into a Yanfei or quick swap comp and many many others. He's a healer that gives an ATK buff as well and generally very strong for many of these characters.

Your question was answered that your next pull is a Guarantee. That means I'd be careful not to pull too much more on this banner unless you want C1 for Raiden, because if you get another 5 star on this banner it will be her again but you could save that for a future banner.

COMMENT 13h ago

Most of the time those two are setup in a kind of Nationals style team which is where you quick swap and throw out a ton of powers and don't rely on actual attacks often with either.

You're right in that Bennet's ATK buff won't benefit from any artifact attack bonuses. Just his level, weapon, and talent level. This is why many will give him as high of a base attack sword as they have regardless of the secondary benefits. Stat priorities then you probably want a good sampling of damage stats anyway since he can still hit fairly hard with his skill and burst. Those are the crit stats and attack. However, if you feel you need more healing for Bennet feel free to get him some HP as well since that scales the healing ticks. He doesn't need a lot of ER but it can't hurt. Definitely aim for a pyro goblet, by the way.

Xiangling isn't too different, but you'll definitely want to focus on damage stats for her while getting some ER worked in. Crit Rate/Crit Damage (figure out a good ratio and from artifacts that will depend on your weapon) along with ATK% is solid. Also a Pyro gob as well. This often means ATK% Sands, Pyro Goblet, Crit Rate/Dmg helm (most often you want the opposite of what your weapon gives if it gives either, otherwise whichever you need more).

Oh for sure, it's definitely pretty lazy writing to just conveniently forget something you establish in the beginning. I totally understand how the force speed should have been like Chekhov's Gun and came back in the end. I was just pointing out the way in which it got kind of explained in expanded material. Much like the kessel run got explained despite probably actually just being a writing mistake.

Oof, dude you’re a dps you should really be using chaos bane unless you’re not actually pushing hard content for your group.

COMMENT 16h ago

I also seem to remember hearing that the speed is actually immensely taxing on the jedi performing the feet and it's really only done in dire situations. Obi wan was just a padawan and to your point probably couldn't have pulled it off in his current state, but even beside that he had no idea it was as dire as it was. In the novelization of the movie he was annoyed that Qui Gon didn't wait for him but didn't think it would have gotten Qui Gon killed. Qui Gon, on the other hand, didn't wait out of protection for Obi Wan and not wanting to put his padawan in that much danger.

Best guess is that Trinity is in fact dead but the machines are using an AI program replica of her to try and control Neo and get him to stay within The Matrix this time around rather than leave and fight them again.

1

COMMENT 17h ago

My guess is that if this is a new Matrix that the machines made (as they alluded to doing over and over again in the 2nd Matrix movie) they probably decided to give Neo Trinity to keep him inside (meaning she'd just be part of the program and not real). Hence the Morphius like character referencing there being one reason why Neo is still there. That or this entire Matrix is basically created by Neo in his head in order to continue with Trinity, but that one doesn't really explain the "real world" shots.

Good fucking job! Keep it up, live for that feeling and you’ll do well. Weight loss is more than working out but working out also has more benefit than just weight loss. You’ll have energy and new found motivation, you’ll feel good about yourself too (which I assume is the feeling you felt). You’ve done a great thing getting started, that’s the hardest part.

Sac sword is really good and ER is a desired stat from artifacts though dmg stats are also good. Technically he’s also a really good option for the new Emblem of Severed Fate set where he would stack ER and turn that into burst damage.
