Yes, I’m mentally preparing for the pay cut I’ll have to take if I get the opportunity to make the jump. Unfortunately, since the fields are so different, it’s hard for me to network and get my work out there. The most I do is have an art account on Insta, but need to aggresively start looking

Oh man, this makes me sad that it’s a dying field. i wanted to do architecture when I was in school since it seems a happy compromise for my creative and analytical side. then I chickened out and took the safe route (accounting and finance). Now, four years later, I’m miserable at my job and dreaming of a job where I can draw or atleast be creative (even if its isnt my own inspired projects)

Yup: water, gas and sewage. In addition I also pay my half of the electricity which is about $75 every two months, and my half internet which is $25 each month.

Total comes out to $1440ish a month.

Not completely true- they will pay out your accrued PTO. But most likely you would have very little of it because until the end of the year you have to use that accrued PTO bank to take any time off. If you leave before then, you get the accrued PTO paid out. But ya, overall a dickish move because now people are wondering if they should just not take any vacation for the rest of the year to atleast save what they have so far

Career About to go into my first interviews in private. Nervous for the technical questions since I have only done audit. Any advice or practice interview questions would be greatly appreciated!

I know the consulting rotations are put on hold this year and even people who did the rotation last summer that were scheduled to make the transfer this year are having to postpone the transfer to next year because consulting is being really effected.

NAH- if you have such a strong aversion and reason for not wanting to be in the delivery room, why can't your sister have the same aversion to her husband seeing her body literally ripped apart? It's not for you to decide that her husband should be there, you can only respectfully decline to be there without judging her decisions.

Because guys and girls can't like the same things
