What makes it not reusable? Yes the smaller part would make cleaning up a bit harder, but as long as you put only clean water in, you just need to rinse it with soap every now and then.

If he had this in Troy he wouldn't have died.

Don't forget to discount the part of the leg that's below the knee. Good smashers fold up their lower legs, giving the impression of jumping much higher than they actually do. Not to say they don't jump high, but they appear to jump much higher due to that reason.

COMMENT 2d ago

I kind of agree with you. Good jump smashes curl up their legs at the knees, so they appear to jump higher than they actually do. And that hoop is definitely short.

How hung was that king? Sorry I'll see myself out.

Poor OP lol. He certainly didn't expect this much criticism before posting. But it's his fault for mistaking this sub for a bunch of dumb street jocks.

The extra power is nice, but it's $2,700 more, and the range takes about a 8% hit. That's a fair trade off though. I suppose $2,700 spread over several years is probably worth it.

It's definitely not pancake flat. I neglected to mention in my post the question for torque in EVs. I currently drive a Nissan Leaf with much less torque, and FWD. While it does mostly fine in the snow with all season tires, I 'm not so sure on a RWD, more powerful EV such as the Mach E. I remember the RWD Model S did fine in the snow.

Perhaps I didn't make myself very clear but I do understand the importance of good tires. I've been in CO for 20 years after all. My main concern was that if I was going somewhere (rarely) with a somewhat steep slope, will RWD with good tires do it over AWD that I will rarely ever need?

1

COMMENT 5d ago

I've never really driven a RWD vehicle in the snow, except for my old F-150 (unrepresentative of a RWD EV) which had 4WD options. I am used to driving in the snow with FWD, and I agree that snow tires are almost everything in the snow. More specifically, I'm trying to have a feel for whether all season tires will do with a RWD model, given very moderate uphill sections. Swapping out snow tires in and out twice every year, and storing them is tiring.

Is AWD a necessity in the snow?

The topic is so old it's like beating a dead horse. I meant that as a joke, a sarcasm. Of course no one can "force" anyone else to buy things. Samsung just stands to make more profit by killing the jack, as they themselves are a leading wireless headphones manufacturer.

But how else would they profit off of the wireless headphones that they try to force you to buy by killing the headphone jack?

You are correct. There is no way a savvy company would pick up these stripper wells with the intention of plugging and abandoning them properly and correctly. At a cost of around $100K to properly P&A a well, they sure as shit wouldn't turn a good profit. My guess is that once enough of these wells stop producing, they will file bankruptcy and flee the state, leaving the state on the hook for cleaning up.

I think when a snap happens, it sends shockwave to the rest of the racket. And also once that spot gives, the tension from the string is now off-balanced and puts pressure on other spots of the frame. I've just never seen 2 snapped areas unless it's a full clash.

You have no idea how fucking cringy you are, don't you?

COMMENT 15d ago

Yes.

COMMENT 16d ago

Probably not. Yes it's possible to break a frame from mis-hitting the birdie, at ONE spot, but not 2 like that. This is more likely a full on clash with another racket, or guy was in a rage and slam his racket onto something hard.

Ex-oilfield engineer here. At least in the US, we have company colors. Different companies have different uniform colors. In common: white for engineers/supervisors, and green for new employees or visitors.
