Hay una ley de extinción de dominio en la cdmx (básicamente el gobierno te puede quitar tu propiedad si se le da la gana) entonces los dueños piden por lo general un aval con propiedad en la cdmx, Cosa que muchos foráneos no tienen.

A couple years ago I bought a note from Amazon (sold by third party. Shipped by Amazon) and it worked great.

When I tried to trade it for a newer phone, it turns out both IMEI were blacklisted by sprint and showed as “stolen” funny thing is, the phone never stopped working, I used it for 18 month with zero issues.

When going to Samsung they didn’t had any idea on how tf the phone had any network access and they were pretty sure that whoever sold me the phone had an inside person in the carrier that enabled the phone.

Anyway, I reported it to Amazon (I asked for the invoice when I purchased it) prove them the phone was blacklisted and they reimbursed me the full amount, no questions asked.

To this day, I’ve never seen a successful SAP migration. It always ends being a shitshow.

And I’m not talking small companies, I’m talking big fortune 100 ones.

I tried to force my contacts to switch to signal. Wanna know how many made the move? 2… and one of those is my mother.

WhatsApp is so freakin prevalent where I live that changing will be impossible.

I remember seeing a rumor saying apple was basically not going to get impacted in lead times given they planned way ahead with TSCM.

What was possible is that we will see a price hike

I have always questioned this. I have exclusively worked at fortune 100 companies my whole professional careers and I’ve never seen HR having any input in the job description. They basically send the template to the hiring manager and he fills the information.

The only hilariously thing I’ve seen in job descriptions is asking for MBAs for entry level positions (I’m seeing you Amazon) or asking for advanced certifications for, again, entry level positions (think Salesforce advanced admin or Salesforce developer) for a jr business analyst.

If you’re seeing this, is not HR, is the Hiring manager not knowing what he wants.

The main issue is not how it’s intended to work today but what can happen tomorrow. We already know apple bends to china, imagine China using the same system but now to search for Pooh photos.

Also the approach is basically “everyone’s guilty until proven otherwise”

I might be wrong but isn’t closed source a way to say they don’t “open the code” to everyone but that doesn’t mean you can reverse engineer it anyway?

They didn’t plan for rains like this. They simply didn’t exist 100 years ago.

NYC (and many other cities around the world) will need to retrofit their systems for climate change.

Of course that’s expensive and won’t win votes so who knows.

This is the main reason I switched from Notes to iPhone two years ago: I broke my screen in my US bought phone note 8 (I live in Mexico) and when going to their official store they said they couldn’t fix my phone, that I needed to go to a US store, which is BS.

It’s actually the only thing stopping me from buying a Note 20 again (I’m pissed about the CSMA stuff and want to vote with my wallet but I really like the convenience of apple)

It’s part of the rumors for the iPhone 13. An improved faceId sensor. It’s not something they have just been working for one year and clearly the iPhone 13 hardware was not existent yet to test it + all the algorithm things they need build, hence using old iPhones for testing.

It’s not a conspiracy nor you need to work at apple to figure that out.

They are testing the new faceID sensors with a plug-in in iPhones 12. It’s pretty normal actually

/r/android basically praise the iPhone at every chance they have. They hate iOS but hardware wise they love the iPhone. It’s chip, build quality, camera, etc…

Maybe that will change soon when foldable become more mainstream but still.

Well, they also hate the stupid thing apple do sometimes (raising prices to $1000s, removing the headphone jack, removing the power brick, etc..) but that’s mainly because they know the big players in android will follow through

Bro I’m from Mexico. How many times have you seen taxi drivers or ambulantes fist fighting with policemen in here? Or all the protests where they destroy everything at their reach and the police doesn’t do anything.

Everything the police do in here is “repression”

I can guarantee you the idiot in this video just payed less than $5000 in bribes and they let him go.

In Mexico any kind of authority measure it’s see as “represion”

Hence why police is literally teached to never use force. It’s basically the mirror of the US
