Yes- I got an email from the medical group I work with & apparently providers are almost 100% vaccinated while nursing staff is no where near that. I seriously cannot understand why this is.

I’m an NP and I am amazed at their level of vitriol. Their hearts seem so full of misery, anger, and hate: all of it misdirected. It’s unfortunate and definitely not healthy. Confident, secure, happy people don’t tend to act like these people do.

I read a post from an MD bashing an NP because they were asked what to do if a post GI surgery patient is acutely anemic and the NP replied “call the surgeon”. The MD thought the first action should be CTA. Lol- I can’t make this stuff up. Where are these people getting their medical degrees from? At least if you’re going to bash NPs/PAs know what the heck you’re talking about. Also- why do you let NA/PAs live in your head rent free? It’s not healthy.

Nurses are also notoriously brutal to each other as well.

This is what happens when people refuse to wear masks, social distance, and get vaccinated. As a society we are reaping what we sow with no end in sight & no one to blame but ourselves.

As a lowly mid level it’s hysterical seeing all of these confidently incorrect posts written by MDs as a means to degrade NP/PA’s when all it does is make themselves look petty & misinformed.

Hi- I was a long time ICU nurse now an NP. It was entirely unfair of your co- workers to not help you when things were going south. Definitely not team players. You were set up to fail. The day shift nurse had no business putting you on blast like that. A descent human being would have jumped in to help you rather than make you feel badly. I swear, nurses are just brutal to each other which is ironic because it’s supposed to be a caring profession. Sounds like a toxic work environment.

That was my first thought. Super ironic. None of us regular folks would have that option.
