As someone who bought a Tesla as well, I don't think you're getting it for 33k even with your French-province's credits. SR+ at a minimum or don't bother as the advertised range is less than reality in ideal conditions, winter will sap it more, and you need a buffer of 10% to keep the battery in good health and whatever safety buffer on the bottom you're comfortable with.
As long as you have a place to charge, I don't understand why a household of 160k shouldn't be able to splurge on a 50k car. If you were a single person making 80k, I'd say it's probably too much though.

Would it still be the TTC if they did that?
It's shocking how much better the GO Bus / Train operators are.

They're fantastic. You'll never quite get 1000/1000 due to limitations of hardware but it's fast enough that I don't have any problem with it. Reliability is no better or worse than Rogers / Bell but the one time I've had a problem with them over the few years, they sent someone over same day.
See screenshot . I have torrents and Netflix running and can't be bothered to turn them off so it's probably a bit better than this.

I pay a bit over $200 for electricity and heating/cooling. Less in nice weather months in a fairly new build

Personally, I think that the longevity of WFH is completely overblown (though I really hope I am wrong). Hybrid is actually quite a bit harder to do than pure WFH.
If you like downtown, I'd probably get a nice big condo down in the core now that it's still cheap relative to the suburbs. I imagine that once offices start gradually rolling back their promises of hybrid / remote, you'll see stupid amounts of appreciation again.

Might be worthwhile to pick up a bunch of potlights on Kijiji if you can find a deal and get a separate installer

A capital tax is terribly unfair for those who choose to save and be responsible.

The trick is to click into the new bookings number and play dumb. It's the difference between, "did you know cell phones cut off after 4 hours?" and a shitty but manageable 30 minute wait.

I mean, prime minister attempted to do this on an even larger scale with a "charity" that has been funneling money to his family...
From the CBC https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/we-charity-student-grant-justin-trudeau-testimony-1.5666676, which is hardly a fringe right wing site:
- Shortly after the Liberal government announced it was awarding the sole-source contract to WE Charity, it came under fire from opposition parties over the Trudeau family's close relationship with the organization.
- Neither Trudeau nor then-Finance Minister Bill Morneau — who also has family ties to WE — recused himself from cabinet discussions on awarding the contract.
- Trudeau and his mother, Margaret, have appeared at a number of WE Day events, while Trudeau's wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, hosts a podcast for the group called WE Well-being.
- Initially, WE Charity said members of the Trudeau family were not paid for appearing at WE events, although Grégoire Trudeau had been reimbursed for travel expenses. On July 9, it emerged that Trudeau's mother, Margaret, was paid approximately $250,000 for speaking at 28 events, while his brother, Alexandre, spoke at eight events and received about $32,000. In testimony before MPs on July 28, Marc Kielburger said Margaret, Alexandre and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau were also reimbursed more than $200,000 in expenses for appearances at WE events.

Let's not pretend it's just a Doug problem. The government is rotten to the core at all levels.

Because we really need kids back in schools so adults can work. Apparently, it's also hard to get kids to wear a mask.
As a result, we have worked out a deal with the coronavirus to not spread to / from kids despite children and schools being germ factories for literally every other virus.

How does it work for work done by a previous owner that you just didn't know about?

If they're asking him and not him asking for the work, have you considered it's what he knows as well?

20-23 makes no sense.
You need to cut off at university VS after university. Though there are co-op students that have amassed a decent amount over their work terms, I think the typical is that this group is broke and very overrepresented on reddit.
