I would say 3 (I'm assuming these are all inside dogs and we're not going to live in some mansion). I like dogs but having a ton of dogs sitting on the couch, bed, etc. would annoy me. Sorry, you're going through this. I'm in a similar boat with age and such and I don't have the same issues. I've definitely lost people but I have had a few more become more interested. Hopefully, it's just a string of bad encounters and it turns around for you.

If you're adamant that you don't want kids in a future relationship it's a good thing because it answers that question upfront and there is no "maybe he will change his mind later" stuff. Depending on your age you will probably run into a lot of women who are great catches and you have no shot with them because of that.

I've found that the people I date understand that I have kid time and relationship time. Dating someone with kids helps, certainly. I have my kids about half of the time and it's all about being upfront and open about it with your partner. If I'm dating someone I make it known early on that something could happen where I have my kids and will have to cancel plans. I put off introducing the kids to anyone for a very very long time.
