I was at school.

We had an announcement that there was a terror attack in NY, and that the twin towers were struck.

Classes continued on.

Some kids got pulled out of school.

One kid was hysterical, his father was called to help in the rescue efforts. His father was a Fireman.

A couple kid's lost parents who worked in the towers.

One girl was crying because her father was okay: He was out getting his office mates coffee when the tower struck his floor. All his co-workers were dead.

I watched the towers fall on a computer live broadcast of the incident.

Got home to my sister fed up with the amount of coverage the disaster was getting-I find this a little ironic now as she is a journalist these days.
