Being that guy.. they were NEVER dinosaurs.. but birds are!
And to put the cherry on the top: the Dilophosaurus was WAY bigger (like 6 meter long), had no frill and couldn't spit venomous stuff

Eat what you want (but not eat sweets or chips like a starving bear) and move! Go for a walk, drive with the bike. Just move a lot.
Lost nearly 30kg in the last three years without 'normal' workouts

Okay. I'll check that out. Thanks for the recommendation
German title is 'Timeline. Eine Reise in die Mitte der Zeit'

From which author? Some book titles in Germany have other names. Jurassic Park for example is 'Dino Park'

It's like a golden toilet. The viewer sees something nice but inside is the same Sh.t as everywhere

Hammond in the book is a lot like Gennaro(?), the lawyer, in the movie. Everything that counts is the profit.
Other changes:
Grant like kids, especially these who are interested in dinosaurs
The lawyer is athletic and is very sceptical about that park
Tim and Lex are age-reversed. Tim is the computer nerd. Lex is only 'daddy's favorite' and simply annoying
Ellie Sattler doesn't do much
And Ian Malcolm? Well, he is Ian Malcolm
Can only recommend that book(s)

I bought them used (german edition) both for 4.98 € in good condition too..
In germany you often have used books from that time from people who smoked like a train, don't know if that problem is in other countries too
I had them as a kid but they got lost during the years. And as kid (7 years old or something) I didn't understand everything, only knew that dinosaurs were cool

Iirc in the first novel the Raptors were described as 'killing for fun' or something like that

I personally see the two Jurassic World movies as 'bigger is better' remakes of the first two.
JP - park fails because of some small things that together result in a catastrophe
JW - park fails, but with more action and special effects
JP TLW - Dinosaurs roaming free, one get to the civilization
JW2 - Dinosaurs roam free, but with more action and some obscure 'hybrids' (never liked that idea, I mean there are sooo many species to use, it's like the 'alien' thing from Dino Crisis 3)
I mean it's impossible to top the first two movies (maybe because of the great books they are based of) but I think the main themes of the new two movies isn't really original/innovative

I think that is more than wrong, but for me it is 'Compsognathi'
