From what I can tell, the requested rule to EXCLUDE NBBO FROM PRICING was denied/withdrawn. Good news to me.

Very interesting. Wow. Is there something I can read regarding this?

So essentially a combo of FOMO and ramp up from calls if it's not a whale or NFT?

COMMENT 2d ago
Wait, what about it is false? You just said you're unable to confirm what the post shows. You pulled data on the totality of their positions, but the post is simply talking about how much was sold from those 1523 closed positions + reduced positions.

Can you explain this a little more? Particularly about having to create a synthetic share to use the dark pool? I thought they just direct the shares, not create a synthetic to make use of the dark pool.

That was a really good read! If not a whale, or NFT, what do you personally believe will be the catalyst for this? You mention the March to Zero Liquidity. Could you elaborate? My understanding is that the lower volume we have, the more volatile the price will react. But don't we need to see pressure applied in the upward direction vs downard?

Go to the "Price History" tab to see how old that share is.

You're right. But that still doesn't explain why you'd worry about the size of someone else's yacht. That would just involve worrying about your own yacht to get the best models onboard.

I'm not following. So they have to buy shares to execute my buy order? That doesn't make sense. We're talking about routing orders.

COMMENT 3d ago
That's perfectly fine, so why worry about the size of someone else's yacht then?

COMMENT 3d ago
Isn't this an ironic post? Comparing size of yachts is what we hate about the rich so like .....

Would have made more sense as a joke if they said "forget about stoplosses" instead of never forget. But yea sure.

Basically order put in saying sell my share(s) if price goes to/below this value.

Couldn't hedgefunds just group orders into massive lots to get value over the threshold?

What if this is why GameStop went greyscale on their social media? Not because they were black in profits, but to signify that they are in fact the black swan event.

It's based on the CNS requirements and to show supplement liquidity requirements based on options. It's every 3rd Friday of the month.

I thought it was 4000 with the multiple accounts

240,000 x 4000 = $960,000,000

COMMENT 3d ago
I'm guessing this is in relation to the CNS that comes with each 3rd Friday if the month that has supplement liquidity requirements. If these aren't met, then margin calls go out.
