8000% APR does sound wacky and unsustainable until you delve finer in to the details.

1. The token you earn is the native token Jewel, the success of the Jewel token will be based on the demand driven to it. Unlike other farms on harmony, DFK will have the dual function of offering both a farm and game. The hero NFT launch is happening in the middle of the month and will enable you to unlock tokens later in the year as well as play the game
2. The Jewel rewards are 95% locked (similar to tokens like VIPER and LOOT) to prevent dumping. Therefore of those APR %'s you see, only 5% is unlocked until June next year.

Ultimately the team have a full year to build out the finer details of the game to build utility in to the token beyond a liquidity pairing. The team are very conscious of the economics of the project and learnt from former Harmony projects before them.

The team have been super active in creating both the UI and developing the game. Theyve also got a huge following now with over 11M TVL to become the third biggest farm on Harmony within 3 weeks. If you're looking for an exciting project to invest in, with some level of risk inbuilt, I think this is the one.

Can you provide more detail as to the anonymous source you got the rugpull accusation from? They've been operating for 3 weeks now and the project is going incredibly smoothly, lots of development, lots of updates and lots of TVL. If its a rug, it's one of the most intricate ones i've ever seen.

Freyala is awesome and could be the biggest thing in Harmony once theyve completed development. I also love Defi Kingdoms. These two projects could bring a heap of new users in to Harmony and put us on the map

There are a whole bunch of endogenous reasons why the price of Loot and Mochi have fallen in price. Soft rugs, bad code, devs not working etc. Viper was holding up for a very long time until VenemDao diluted the market during Snake Month (another seemingly poor decision).

While the game hasn't been released yet, the devs have provided multiple previews (the hero NFT designs look spectacular), discussed how the game will will function within the jewel ecosystem and provided specific dates for release. Some may ape in for the high APR initially but based on all I can see, Defi Kingdom will provide a multiverse gaming experience, including NFT characters and a play to earn model for which it will provide many reasons for user to stay. For all these reasons this makes Defi Kingdom very different to every other copy paste DEX/farms you've mentioned.

It's also the one project that's actually brought new users to the Harmony ecosystem, so I don't think it's positive sentiment to assume it'll follow the same path as others when they're nothing alike. Ultimately, this projects success will be good for other gaming platforms like Freyala and ROY as well.

The UI makes it awesome for that purpose, as the devs add to it it'l become incredible

The fact that they have a team of 10 working on this project including a marketing manager respected in the harmony community gives a lot of bullish sentiment to this. Really good chance to penetrate beyond the harmony community, something every Harmony yield farm has struggled up to this point with. Its good to be early :)

This seems the most promising out of all the farms. Its actually more than just a copy/paste fork. Good luck to Defi Kingdoms, hoping it accomplishes its goals and brings more users to Harmony!

While the post sounds shilly, yes it seems to show the most promise out of all of them. The token will actually have utility unlike many of the other farm tokens

Sushi is a good choice if you want something safe (safe as can be in Crypto terms).

If you're looking to be adventurous, a new yield farm called DefiKingdoms (https://game.defikingdoms.com) has just started which offers a full gaming UI experience, high yields and NFTs (down the track). Its new so much higher risk, but super high rewards if the team delivers. It's grown a lot over the first 3 days and shows a lot of promise.

Freyala ($XYA) is an HRC-20 token and essentially focuses on the value of community at its core. The idea behind this project would be to create a beginner-friendly means of using crypto with the power of low-cost and fast transactions on the Harmony blockchain. Freyala (XYA) is be the main token using ONE as gas to be the base foundation for the entire Freyala ecosystem, including the currency for the upcoming HRC-721 token for CryptIDs.
CryptIDs is the tentative name for a NFT-based monster collection strategy game on XYA, unlike anything that’s currently on the blockchain. By staking XYA, players will be rewarded with in-game tokens that can traded for booster packs containing monsters called CryptIDs. These CryptIDs are NFTs created with distinctive properties, giving each one a unique combination of stats and abilities (hence different strengths and weaknesses). Some CryptIDs being simply stronger -and more valuable- than others.
Players can select their strongest CryptIDs and put them to battle against other players, either for fun, glory or more CryptIDs. This puts their own monsters on the line in a wager.
