Funny thing-I started following EPL from the States (born here) about 10 years ago. Watched for a season or two and for some reason picked Spurs as my club to support. No one else in my family could name more than 1 other English club, I’d say.

About 4-5 years ago, my best friend and I were talking and he mentioned he had really gotten into EPL as well. Lo and behold, he had randomly chosen Spurs as his club too. Guess that’s why we’re best friends.

He’s now a season ticket holder, although we both live in North Carolina. He plans to attend a couple matches a season, COVID willing.

E-commerce project manager here, can confirm. The field is unreal busy right now and if you’re in consulting (like me), you can essentially name a figure and get it. Resourcing is a significant pain because people with the right skills are moving frequently.

A bunch of my friends joined an old clan and are doing cwl in this clan for the first time. Silver 1…we have 10 th14s, 3 th13s, 1 th12, 1 th11. It’s an absolute blood bath for the opposing clans. There’s 1 th14 that I can find in the other 7 clans.

We didn’t think it would be this bad, but it is what it is. We’re just gonna war and move up as quickly as we can. Our “new” clan is a lvl9, so we don’t want to abandon it and start anew.

tl/dr: it happens, cwl isn’t meant to be “fair”. It’s luck of the draw.

I hated whenever I would change my base around because for a week I’d log in and start instinctively tapping where my collectors were previously. It would take forever to reprogram my brain…

Part of it was putting loot in the town hall. Previously all loot was in storages/collectors, so most everyone (except the highest of trophy pushers) put their town hall outside their walls. An attacker would hit the th, take a 2% victory, and give the defender a 12 hour shield. There was no incentive to try and defend your th at that point. Putting loot in the th and adding in new rules to get a shield meant that the defense meta changed.

It was a massive change to the strategy and many, many people declared the death of the game. Eventually everyone just accepted it and moved on. It was a change for the better, because town halls with defenses (like 12, 13, and 14) wouldn’t have worked the same with the previous system in place (IMO).
