The US vaccine card is standard so its the same card regardless of where you got vaccinated.
I imagine you'll get some strange looks and questions showing a foreign vaccine card, but I'd imagine place would allow it.

I'm currently researching and this is what I think I've landed on: https://www.blockbins.com

I haven't had cake (just pastries) from Roeser's on North Ave, but I think they would be able to do what you are looking for and have good reviews.

I think your alderperson's office should be able to tell you if you call and ask. If not I'd probably park somewhere slightly outside of my street cleaning zone.

Immunocompromised and underlying condition is such a diverse group that it's hard to make generalizations. Difficult to impossible to say which group was more isolated. Some of the at risk adults had to continue to work in person during COVID. Kids by and large are easy to regulate and control their environment, which is what happened in 2020.
But this was a comparison of kids v. gen pop

You claimed there is data and surveys that show people are not getting vaccinated for a reason other than ignoring science. So cite it.
There are ZERO reputable scientists/doctors saying people should not get vaccinated, so if someone chooses not to get vaccinated they are ignoring science unless there is an underlying condition they have discussed with their Doctor.

There is a small percentage that with the counsel of their doctor should not be vaccinated. The rest of them are ignoring science. If you want to present stats you are welcome to but I'm certain they will be qualitative responses. The actual reason is ignoring science.

It's really not new when you compare to other medical technologies and the speed at which it moves. People born in the 80s didn't get the chicken pox vaccine. Im old enough that I had meningitis before a vaccine was approved and I'm not even 40. People not getting vaccinated are ignoring science.

Kids were also the most isolated group during covid. There are a lot of variables at play. Now that kids are going to camps and school they are getting COVID.

Welcome! Chicago is the best city in the US and don't let anyone tell you anything different.

I'd pick Chicago over both those places. And I lived in one of them.

Random, but irking me.
Why are the USA women's beach volleyball teams refered to by their first names and have their first names on their uniforms?
This doesn't seem to be standard in any other sport

I've done virtual coaching and had a good experience, but I still think face to face is preferred. If you know you do better in person, this probably isn't the trainer for you.

Glad something opened in that space. It's a nice patio and I kept thinking it was a shame it sat empty during covid.

Try Sarpinos. They have a sauce that sounds like what you are looking for.

PE was a terrible experience for me as well. My elementary school PE teacher was ex-marine who was straight up scary, almost in a comical fashion. I have a distinct memory of a bee flying around him while he was talking and him clapping and killing the bee. There were other more fr questionable things.
High School was just as bad. I had to learn to throw a football in a spiral, which is a complete waste of my time. Meanwhile I ran varsity cross country all 4 years. Probably would have loved weightlifting if they taught it. Oh, and I got publicly shamed on nutrition/food even though my PE instructor didn't know what they were talking about. Fuck shitty PE teachers.

Hang in there! It's totally normal to be anxious. I know two people who have had it (one elective and one because of back pain) both are incredibly happy with their decisions years later.

This response is spot on. I regularly dyed jeans, back before dark wash was popular and it was a requirement for my job. The only thing I would add is I did a rinse with white vinegar, which supposedly sets the dye.
As for future washes, I always ran the washer a few times empty and then maybe a load of lesser value clothes/towel, but had no real issues.

I spent a good chunk of Sunday prepping for the week. Meal prep, planned my workouts, bought sneakers to wear for my commute, etc since I'm back in the office now. Only to find out Monday morning when I got to the office that I had missed the Sunday announcement that we are shut down again. So bummed that I was super prepared and it all feels like a waste. I'm so over constant pandemic related change.
Also, I think I learned in the time we were back that I'm more productive and happier when a have more structure in my life.

I got an email recently that said they were going to start charging a $10 fee. Ive used WF from Amazon a few times, but I don't think I'd do it for $10/delivery.

Agree. I love the TJ moisturizer. It's similar to the Murad water gel I was using.
