The Mac is a brand new macbook pro 2020, no weird software installed. It crashes almost every time I turn it off, then turn on and i get a black screen saying we had a problem and it takes ages to boot up again.

Works fine if you close the lid, i don't like to leave it on suspension but if I get rhat crash one more time I'm going to go insane. Running latest big sur version. Windows on a good computer is so much more stable, and I'm a power user on windows. I barely do anything on the mac, and keeps asking me for permissions, add the app then get asked again. Oh and touch id is great, except it doesn't work when you first unlock your computer, what a useless gimmick. I know why they do it, but they should let me choose less security over convenience. If someone steals my laptop and somehow manages to get my finger to unlock it, they deserve to look inside. I run a windows vm inside the mac and that also gave me flashing screen issues until I did some workarounds on the mac, not a windows issue because linux vms also flash when scrolling until you do the workaround. A pain in the ass OS.

The hardware is OK, but I hate how hot it gets, apple add a fucking grill under it no one is looking there while using it, but I can feel the keyboard burn my hands that's annoying as fuck and I've never had a recent windows laptop be this hot outside. And the second screen on the keyboard is always hot as fuck, and not able to add my shortcuts only the ones apple though were important.

I expected more for +2000$ as a first time mac user. No it doesn't just work, there's workarounds for every fucking thing, feels like linux on the desktop.

I agree but mac sucks, got a MacBook pro for work and the amoint of weird errors that popup, the confusing permission system, the crashes when booting up from a graceful shutdown, and the limitations of the os because apple liked it that way.

Which in theory could work for our kia infotainment sincr the developer options show it has a 5ghz wifi module. This can at least be fixed with a 70$ dongle, the fullscreen is the bigger issue
