The lack of games really makes me wonder why so many people are fighting for these consoles. Are there really any decent games out that are worth dropping $500+ to play them NOW?

Accurate. I'd rather play Undertale than any of the latest graphical-wonder AAA games. That's not to say that none of the AAA games have great stories, but it always irks me when I imagine how those games would have turned out had they focused more budget on storytelling rather than graphics.
Also, fuck you Square-Enix for devolving from focusing on story to worrying more about showcasing impossible swordplay sequences and scenes that are supposed to make the MC look badass and edgy. I fell in love with your games thanks to a protagonist that INTENTIONALLY had no personality but was written so that he was still interesting and lovable.

Shit happens to me all the time with music.
“This band is fantastic! Oh, according to wiki they’ve been disbanded for at least 3 years and what I just listened to was their ONLY album. That’s cool.”

Yeah, that’s some grade A garbage. Seems like they’re intentionally underfunded too.

Woah, yeah. I can see how that could happen but ouch.

Ugh yeah, honestly 37% is too low.

Yes! The marginal tax rate is key, which is why I was referring to it more as a “cut-off” rate in some of my other comments. Honestly if billionaires are willing to pay up then have at it! I’m curious what tax rate they supported though. Do you know?

Oh for sure, the rich should be taxes appropriately and goodness knows the country needs that money. Though, unfortunately they aren't even paying what they're supposed to be paying at the current tax brackets (yay tax dodging tactics), and I confess I can empathize, since our nation has a terrible track record for inefficient appropriation of funds (excessive military, not balancing the budget, corruption, etc).
I've always said that I'd be the first in line to pay a 50% income tax if my taxes primary went toward healthcare, free college, infrastructure, and general welfare. Looking at how our nation uses taxes today? Hell yes give me my money back.

I'd challenge that a lot of things have changed financially since WWII. Pensions are gone, heathcare costs have skyrocketed, (expensive) college is becoming a common gateway for many higher paying jobs, etc. What may have worked financially 70 years ago may not work today.
The main logical argument I suggest is that excessive tax can hamper innovation, stop people for "shooting for the stars", and stopping people from selling their stocks. With a 91% tax rate there's effectively a cut-off for earning beyond a certain amount because any income beyond that point is essentially taken away. If that's the case then why should entrepreneurs aim any higher than that income level and further grow their business? I don't think billionaires should exist, but billionaires exist because of the success of their company, they aren't billionaires because they get paid that much each year. I worry that imposing too harsh of a high income tax rates will only make them dig in their heels further (and avoid taxes). Based on where this nation stands today, I think we should focus first and getting them to pay taxes at the current brackets and then work from there.
All the same, I'm not an economist and I'd imagine most people here aren't either, but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong on this. I want the rich to be properly taxed without causing major fallout.

Did a similar thing with my daughter but for the COVID nose swab test. Yes, I did actually get the full swab, though the person who swabbed us both was excellent and thus it wasn't too bad.
My daughter has an average amount of fear for a kid her age, but dammit she's a lot braver than me. She got an MRI done (with neither parent in the room due to COVID) and she had no trouble at all. If I was little and saw that shit I'd nope right out.

Tax them a higher rate sure, but 91% seems silly. Even if these people do make lots of money it’s not fair to tax them unreasonably. I know it’s easy to ask “How can anyone spend that much money? I can’t imagine it, so we should take that surplus money from them.” but it honestly is not reasonable to tax that way. Even the higher tax rate Nordic countries don’t tax THAT high.

Oh man, I wish tech like this could exist, though if there’s anything I’ve learned about humans is that they are extremely capable of breaking things and being mad about it. I would LOVE all these sleek and thin moving designs, but you can bet that this would be the “bendable iPhone” fiasco all over.

You all wait, HH is gonna drop ALL episodes in a single day. We're going to be absolutely blown away and it's going to be glorious. The only thing I worry about is if we ARE given all episodes at once we won't have time to build up anticipation/hype for each episode, which really seemed to work well for GoT (not so much for the finale).
